Hi Rene, not sure what you mean by the glass squares but I got my topper form Ebay for £9.95. It is very light and has a spike on the bottom of each letter which goes into the cake to support it. HTH Tiger xxx
p.s. If you search for wedding acrylics on Ebay the seller will come up!

im also wanting the glass sqs for the cakes
do i need to have all fruit cakes to hold the glass as id think soft sponge would go flat with these on it
what do u think?or am i being silly AGAIN
Hi, I used these for my mum's wedding cake. I used clear plastic dowels which I inserted into the cake below where the square glass was going to sit, that way the pressure was taken off the cake. I put a cream rose inside the glass and had a bottom tier of fruit, middle of choc and a madeira top tier.
We were able to oder the vases through the florist and just picked up on the day.

My Oh came home with a few wedding magazines last night I was flicking through and came to a section on cakes, and there is a trend for cheese cake not the USA type cheesecake, but a great rudy slab of smelly cheese! how romantic.
My MIL to be is making our cake, no specific instructions from me apart from it must have at least 3" of marzipan and at least 2" of royal icing on.
We're having a "rudy slab of smelly cheese!"
hopefully it'll look a little like this!

We haven't decided on the exact cheeses yet & are going back to order after Christmas.
I don't really like cake & we both love cheese & the idea of something a little quirky! My partners mum is also making a fruit cake to eat with the cheese as it's a bit of a Yorkshire thing to eat them together!!!"Normal is not something to aspire to - it is something to get away from" - Jodie Foster0 -

Haha those cheesecakes are ace!! :T The first one you can't even tell it's cheese can you?!
Pity I'm not that adventurous with cheese though ~ wonder if they make a laughing cow cake? :rotfl:Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
we are considering using some mini baby bell cheeses as decorations for the kids to eat! Although my 4yr old nephew is bugging me to include brie as he loves it!"Normal is not something to aspire to - it is something to get away from" - Jodie Foster0

Cake was £80 from Marks and Spencers (1 fruit tier and 2 sponge) Think the decorations cost about £20.00 and cake topper bit extra but my dad bought it for us. All from ebay)
