This is the only thing I can find similar to my cake. Except there will be NO flowers or yellow.

    It's really hard to imagine....

The ribbon will be blue, there will be a bride on top, a groom trying to climb up onto the top tier, the perspex cube will be filled with a blue light and gel stuff and our two sons will be at the bottom in their city kits. Yes it's mis matched and a bit of a jumble but it was a compromise between me & h2b so....

It's costing £295, the bottom tier will be chocolate, middle carrot cake and top lemon sponge

Will you be booking your sessions with Relate in advance?

I'm sure Freud would have a theory about that. :rotfl:

We are having three tiers. One will be chocolate sponge, one will chocolate marble and the top tier will be lemon.

It's costing £35 per tier so £105 altogether. It is a friend of my Mum's who is making it, she makes fantastic cakes! And we also get the added bonus of a discount!!

There will be burgundy ribbon round the base of each cake with the crystal over that, all the crystals are going to be clear. Our topper is a monogram one from Ebay. It is just the mirrored one and cost £9.95

  • That's gorgeous!!! We are still debating on whether or not we should have ribbon and flowers, or crystal and ribbon. This is a good idea of a cake: I have tons of austrian crystals left that would do the trick.

Hey hun, I have sent you a pm. If anyone else is wondering the cake lady is getting them from the local sugarcraft shop, but she says she has also seen them on Ebay

Hello, thought I would join in :)
We're having cupcakes rather than a traditional wedding cake, and to have 100 made, it is going to cost us around £150-£200.

We're having red cupcake cases for them too, to go with our colour scheme!
They are going to look something like this..
