Show us your cake!

Whether married already, or planning your wedding, I thought we could have a thread to show off your wedding cake/cake ideas!

It would help too if you could tell us the cost and whether it was made especially, or it was a store bought cake which you have decorated yourself.

Hope nobody minds?! (I've got cake on the brain at the moment! :D)

    I stabbed it :D

    On the day the chef took a wedge out of the back so as not to disturb the hearts. We used a 5th of it on the day. (Chef couldn't serve slices because after a 3 course dinner it would have killed people :rotfl:) Small bits were served with petit fours and heart shaped sweeties with coffee after the meal.

    2 days later I dismantled it and cut it up. I was covered head to toe in dark chocolate!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    So you killed it!! :eek::eek:

    I've already got my eye on a cake, nothing spectacular, just classic & pretty, but I hate the though of chopping it up!

    Might just get a dummy cake made up and give everyone a mini roll instead :D
