No trouble, every time I identify a problem that might crop up again I can take steps to fix it, which is best for both us and the customer.

No need to apologise, you had genuine questions about our site and I've taken steps to improve things where perhaps clarity was lacking. When you use/see a site day in, day out for 7 or 8 years you can go a little snow-blind so outside opinions are always welcomed, where genuinely aimed at improving things.

decided to stay out of this one as it seemed to go ballistic before it was even born......
good for OP and well done for choosing diplomacy and tact initially, rather than go for the proverbial 'bring them down' tact that is all too easy to adopt...:T

well done mobiles.co.uk/ben for such a speedy resolution.

    Hi,

The phone was returned to the warehouse by us, the contract cancelled within 2 days and a goodwill compensation cheque (which you did not ask for) of £50 to cover the postage, any O2 bill for the period you had the phone and the time you spent trying contact us.

    Regards,
Ben, First of all whatever you decide to do with the phone after it was returned to you is entirely up to you.
You never cancelled the contract at all !
How come all of sudden because have realised that O2 have sent a bill (because you didn't cancell) that suddenly this non existant cheque is also to include O2 expences ?????????
First time this has been mentioned Ben
It's not just about the money
  • Hi Ben (mr mobiles.co.uk),

Wife sent her first cashback claim off a few weeks ago. Its deffo got there cos I sent it recorded.

I've tried emailing to check its been recieved and the claim is all in order but no reply.

I hope that mobiles.co.uk dont do what other dodgy suppliers do, where they wait until the 30 days is up then they tell you its wrong, but by then its too late to correct.

Should I recieve email/txt confirmation of my claim?

    Hi Paul,

what's your order number? I can save some time and quickly check the status myself.

You should have had an email as soon as the claim was received by us confirming receipt, did you get this?

    Thanks,

    Paul,

August bill received 19th August - not sure why no confirmation was sent but it is here.

This is the correct bill, and should be validated as such (and payment confirmed) within 28 days of the 19th. For future reference, these are the bills we need:

    November 2009
    February 2010
    May 2010
    August 2010
