I ordered 2 early on in the 1st thread.

Both of mine have been cancelled. It didn't send me an email, I looked it up on the WHSmith site

are you sure? the word cancel is there highlighted in the hope that you press it and cancel the order

i see whsmiths have removed the item from sale now. Does this mean nobody will recive the box sets ???

The boxset is back on their website at £39.99 and in stock!

all i can see is indivudal box sets, not the season 1-4 boxset, any chance of a direct link

I ordered 1 within ten minutes of the op and its just been cancelled, no email, had to check the site..

I ordered two in separate transactions and just got an e mail on one to say that they are unable to get any more stocks of this item so my order has been cancelled.

Checking online one order shows as cancelled but the other order still shows as 'on order'.

sorry to reply to my own message but I just refreshed my order page and both are now showing as 'cancelled'.

Oh well, it was a worth a try but my son will be disappointed (as will his friend who asked me to order the second box set).

No email yet, but the Smiths site shows the order as cancelled. I have lodged an online complaint and suggest others do, and I am also in the process of contacting Watchdog, and I suggest others do..

Just had the cancellation email. They are not saying the price was a mistake, they are saying that demand was too high so they have cancelled the order.

As a fillip, they have given me a link to 10% of Smiths products

Let's see what Watchdog make of it...
