Yeh I can commiserate with you Shrek, must be frustrating :-/ Seems like a lottery with the company, and guess, for some reason, I was actually lucky for once! :o:o

yeah i think its a bit of a lottery, i brought a wireless card from them, i opened it up broke all the seals and stuff, so found it didn't work on my pc, sent it bk with not much hope but got a full refund within a week.
  • I personally havent got a bad word to say about them, ive spent loads of cash, ordering tons of stuff with them in the past few years and not once has a delivery been late or damaged.

For example,I ordered a wireless kit and a few other bits from them on the 28th December and it arrived on the 30th December... same great service as per usual.

I admit there replies to enotes to take a while but normally i just research products on the net before ordering rather than asking them.

Maybe I'm a bit of a cynic, but I'd be interested in knowing, over the Christmas rush, how many Ebuyer customers spent over £100 and were told the items would not be delivered for Christmas. Looking at the posts so far, it seems that those who have ordered more than £100 are OK, those that haven't ordered over £100 haven't got the goods.

Someone mentioned the other day that you can't complain to your credit card company for less than £100. If that's the case, have ebuyer tried to pull a fast one?

Mike who's wants to understand if the CEO knows how difficult it is to get new customers as apposed to how easy it is to keep existing ones.

Sorry, but wouldnt touch ebuyer with a barge pole anymore.

Had had several successful orders from them in the past, ordered 188 quids worth of stuff from them well before xmas, paid for delivery on a certain date. Delivery never turned up, sent several enotes all of which still have no replies to them. Even created a new account with them so i could sent more enotes.

Also phoned and emailed all the senior managers constantly trying to find out what was happening with my order. Eventually i got an email back saying your goods are on their way - not an apology though.

They are cheap, but if somethings goes wrong your screwed

I needed some of these items for Christmas and ordered plenty of time before Christmas. Items were in stock and I know form posting else where they some people ordered well after I did and got there items. So begs the question why me?

Now I have to order else where, but I woudlnt be at all surprised if there items get delivered to me despite sending enotes informing them that I cancelled and a recorded letters sent on the 30th and received on 31st.

So if that happens I will refuse the items and either do a chargeback from my credit card or relucantly take legal action.

What choice do I have they have had plenty of time to deliver and have ignored enotes.

they really p*ssed me off when i sent something back for a refund through a ridiculous tagging system and they took 20% off because i opened the box , didnt even use the item, would have got more back selling an the item on ebay!!! bit like low cost airlines, good prices but rubbish after sales

I'd speak to your local trading standards, in particular about the distance selling regs, which I beleive allows inspection of goods (but not use)

Oh and for me so far to date I not had any major problems but always prefer another supplier if possible, ie. within 5-10% of total price and always pay by CC
