Ebuyer Sale

Things even go wrong with the best companies. The difference between the best companies and those like ebuyer is that ebuyer ignore their customers totally when they need to complain. The best companies learn from their mistakes and do whatever they can to make that customer happy again.
A common "customer care" training quote is; "A happy customer tells on average one person of their positive experience, and an unhappy customer tells nine."
I do not consider myself a difficult customer, I simply want ebuyer to deliver what they promised or explain to me how they intend to make things right now that the item has not arrived. Ignoring me just makes me annoyed and keep posting on here.0 -
I use them a lot & recommend to friends.
Frankly 20% restocking fee is fair.. so long as its in the t&c.0 -
i wont use them anymore as well. Was quite impressesd with them at first but then they sent the wrong item. I had to pay to send it back (recorded delivery). Took ages to get a refund and still did not get my postage back. Even after sending them a photcopy of the recepit, a scanned copy of it and various enotes, they just ignored me. So now I gnore their website ;DPayneardo0

I'm sure a re-stocking fee is illegal in this country.0

Just adding my experience. Ordered a Christmas present online from ebuyer. Delivery date was "By the 24th December" which fitted in perfectly. So I ordered. 12:05 on 24th December I received an email from them saying that they had too many orders to cope and so couldn't deliver until "tomorrow". Wrote them many emails and enotes and even emailed the chairman. No response so far although one of the enotes has been closed.
Very very unhappy with their customer experience. Will be following this up with a letter to the Office of the Chairman to find out if anyone feels responsible for this customer experience. Avoid at all costs.

I have used Ebuyer for a few years, and still do.
I can understand how people get annoyed with them over the not being able to pick up the phone and speak to someone when theres a problem; obviously they are keeping overheads to an absolute minimum in order to keep low prices. Using there Enotes I have generaly got things sorted fine. Have had some things faulty (case all dented once comes to mind) where I have not bothered to return as postage would of been as much as item value.
The Bottom line with them is most of there prices are hard to beet and they sell a lot of decent good value stuff that most of the time arrives when or before it should.
The "Sale" does look a joke tho, have seen better prices on there weekend specials.Nope.... Still cant think of owt interesting to put here.0 -
I have the phone number of the owner of Ebuyer which I got from TS. They have numerous complaints about these cowboys.
I ain't a difficult customer I have been one for 2 years and no problems but then I ain't had to complain.
Like I said I ordered stuff on the 12th so plenty of time to delivery but they never did. The status of my order hasn't changed in over 2 weeks with items that were in stock
No longer a user, goodbye folks. PLEASE delete my account. Thank you0 -

Personally I love ebuyer. Yeah their delivery isn't as quick as some but their prices are so low so who cares!! Well, obviously some people on this board who want to pay next to nothing but get premium service as well...0 -
Legally in this country a company has 28 days to deliver from confirming your order, so ordering on the 12th Dec is late if you want guaranteed Xmas delivery.

... any service would be nice.0 -
I can't recommend from personal experience.
Their prices look great, but customer service terrible enotes is useless. I placed an order with them two items where missing(out of stock) and parcel came with no covering note explaining this, and I was charged £20 del to Norn Ireland.
Spent 30 minutes on an 0870 number trying to get a refund and explanation.
Any savings where lost.
I ordered from Dabs and got next day delivery for £5"Food has replaced sex in my life. Now, even I can't get into my own pants."0
