36 days now since Halifax recieved my letter for statements. Hmmmm, that only leaves a couple of days to get them within the 40 day time frame. Although i have recieved a letter acknowledging 'my order' im not hopeful i will get them on time. They will probably use the Post Office are on strike excuse. Still i will pursue it.
Ordered some more Christmas presents online getting some good little bargains.
About to withdraw £100 from Credit union into Saving fund so im sure ive already met Novembers target for the saving fund.:j

Couple of small matched bets going on which should make me £35 over next day or so. That will go straight on getting my overdraft down to £300 to avoid the daily fee.
I got caught out other day doing this. Set up an account to recieve an offer but i didnt know the offer had expired. Sounded a bit dumb on the phone to customer services asking why i had not recieved my free bet, especially when the account was in my partners name. (I wonder if i really do sound like a women or he just wasnt interested):rotfl:

Well today i recieved a list of credit card charges from HBOS that amount to £366. Bit of a bummer as £175 is before the 6 years limit. Even so i have about £80 from another BOS account so thats around £440 plus interest to claim back..

Im off to write the letter!

Thanks Snowmoredebt. I just recieved another email offering a free £50 bet if i deposit £100. Hopefully i will have the time in the next day or so to do this. A possible £40 profit or so.
Also i have done a bit of research and i can claim back more than 6 years so i have wrote the letter to be sent tomorrow claiming a nice £627 or if it goes to court an even nicer £810. Think this one will go to court as my Capital One did a few years ago.

Fingers crossed as this could make a big impact!

Well ive just read over my first post to this thread and what can i say..
My first main goal was to have £400 paid of by middle of December. Well i have done that and more, along with save £260 and pay £140 off on my overdraft....and its only the beginning of November. Wow..can not really think how i have managed so much. Just hope it stays that way.

Yesterday i sent the letter off to claim my charges. I know they will reject the claim or waffle on about claiming more than 6 years and the £12 ones are fair etc etc, but my plan is to go straight to court action if the fail to pay back £431 (i think), thats all charges within the last 6 years.
Failing that i will ask for the rest and interest in court. So im hoping for a Christmas or New Year bonus.

Today i made roughly £38 matched betting which is going towards a photograph. Well the kids had a school photo and the youngest (3) had just started nursery in his little school uniform so we wanted a big size acrylic framed photo of them together though it was nearly £90. Also two normal photos to give to our parents for Christmas so the cost of those will be taken off my Christmas present budget for them. So half of the total is already paid for which is good. £104.50 to the school nearly gave me a heart attack but it is a one off photo lasting forever and my treat to myself for paying things off so far.

Also scouting around for home insurance which ive found Sheilas wheels to be the cheapest only saving a few pound what im paying now but with added benefits and hopefully £65 cashback if it tracks. Ironically its owned by Esure who im with now but their offer is not as good.

    All encouraging at the moment.

Edit: Forgot to mention my credit union withdrawal of £100 to go into Saving fund so thats up to £264 from a target of £240.

Small crack in the armour today as yesterday the tumble dryer conked out. Its happened before so fortunately i (think) know what it is and had to order a new part which was £45. Tempted to buy a new one.
As my savings is a bit ahead of my target ive used £30 from this and £15 from my normal money to pay for it. The flip side is i should make £23.50 from my matched betting at the end of the night so that will go straight back in my savings fund. Still need to find £65 to get overdraft down and also pay for these photos. Not a major thing as i can swap some money around from savings etc would like these out of the way to concentrate back on getting my cards down.

I also ordered a few presents from Littlewoods with a £25.00 off voucher.
Though i think this was a glitch in the website i got the refund and bought £35 worth of goodies for only a tenner.

Went for that job i mentioned earlier and got past the application stage so thats good news also. CC statements due in over the next couple of days so will be able to due my monthly review and set myself some new targets.
