    Thanks Kirsten.

Payday today so in went another £15 to savings and also £23.00 from the matched betting winnings. Got a bit confused with amount as my sig says i had £89.00 so add the £38 i thought i would have £127 but in my actual account i have £151 so thats a bonus i think. Unless i messed up somewhere.
Also paid an extra £50 and £25 on two of my cards as mentioned earlier as i get paid every 4 weeks so can fit an extra payment per bill in each year.

Second thoughts for above i might take £20 back out of savings to put on overdraft. Will only need to find £40 by 6th December to avoid charges on account.....Thats the plan!

So onto next months official targets (15th Novemeber)
    Debt = £6650
    Saving/Christmas fund = £240

    Monthly update:
I missed the extra payment on my card for being paid 4 weekly but that will show next month. I also recieved a redund of £10 on my HBOS card due to me contesting the increase in APR. That account should now be closed although not had any sort of confirmation yet after several weeks.....Thats a job to do!
£15 in lose change saved up so that will go onto my overdraft to get it down to the minumum before charges kick in. Last night i also made £13.00 and withdrew £14 from a matched bet i had tied up. They will also go onto overdraft......Concentrating on overdraft this next month and should not be to far away from the target now.

Monthly statements show credit card debt down to £6622 after i set the target for £6650 so again thats a bonus and its making me feel good in myself, especially when saved £271 in saving fund and almost paid off £200 in overdraft.:T
    Onto Decemebers targets:

Having a sort of break from my cards and want to reach that £300 mark on my overdraft, i will still be charged £12.50 a month for it, with hopefully £5.00 refunded if i transfer £1000 each month but thats better than the otherwise £30 a month charges i would of got.
I also need to pay back £56.50 for the photos i bought and my target from my cards is £6100.

Onwards and upwards....ohh and those credit card charge are looming closer. 11 days since i sent the first letter, should be hearing pretty soon although im taking it that this will go to the death.

Edit: Forgot to mention my Saving fund target last month was £240 and it now stands at £276 so im infront with that and i should have another £100 going into soon once it clears in my credit union account.
Savings target next month (15th Dec) = £400

Well i have an unofficial date to take an assessment for the job i went for. Not that bothered about it but its the silly questions they ask for eg.

Name a time you respected someones beliefs and culture. What did you do, how did you feel etc etc??

I know what they want to hear as you just need to mention key woods like listened, understood, respected and the like but i find them silly. Oh well i have to do it so i shall stop moaning.

Well a good week matched betting. £38 from one and another £95 to come after the football today so im more than happy:j. That should be overdraft sorted for the time being, photos paid for and the rest for Christmas i think. Won't put it on card just to make sure i will have enough for Christmas. Though anything else made now until next pay do will go on cards.

14 days is up for the letter for my credit card charges and i was hoping of some sort of responce. Will give until Monday and then will be writing the second letter.

Well the boiler has packed in again and its freezing in the house. Luckily we can put the fire on and use electric shower, though if its not fixed its going to be a cold winter. As i upgraded my Halifax account to Ultimate Reward im hoping they can sort it as they give you free emergancy home cover upto £250. Had BG out last time who faffed about, got it working and it was very tempermental..By right i should call them out again and not pay as its the same fault, but i know i will have to fight for it, so a phone call to Halifax first thing tomorrow.

More Christmas presents bought and all on budget with some left over as i should have more than the £500 target.:T

Photo money i want to pay off is there but tied up at the moment and need to find £11.00 by the 6th Dec to have the overdraft sorted so thats good news as i should hopefully make £38 from tomorrows football matched betting.
Still no reply from credit card charges and need to send second letter threatening court but not sure which address as ive seen a few. Maybe thats why they have not replied so need to do it properly...so im off to try and find out again!

Its been freezing with no heating and water and what a pain. Boiling the kettle to wash the dishes. Thank god for the eletcric shower! Anyways as of today is fixed:j:j (Hopefully). Im at work but its working so far.

All thanks to the Halifax changing their terms and charging me £1 a day to be overdrawn. If it was not for that i would not have upgraded my account and recieve upto £250 home emergancy cover as a benefit. I never thought i would thank the Halifax for that!!

Overdraft is now below £300 and photos paid off. Recieved them other day and the big acylic one is brilliant.
Spent a bit more money this month than i thought but luckily i have made a bit more also. Nothing extra on credit cards this last month but had not planned for it so nothing lost i guess.

Renewed house insurance and £45 cashback tracked and when i looked i have a few late tracking items which should give me around £95 in total by the end of January.:T

Halifax never recieved credit card charges letter and spun me a load of rubbish on the phone so sent the final letter before action letter to two different addresses so they can not fob me off again. (Feel a bit guilt now after helping me with boiler). Just have to wait now...fingers crossed!!

Oh and as i had a bit more money in savings then planned i spent £28 for 2 nights near my brothers in Scotland Easter week. No room at his now due to baby girl so took advantage of Travel lodge offer. We will only be sleeping there so for £28 its a bargain. Extra saving for petrol money though!

2010 is going to be a good year!

Nothing much happening of late. Few more Christmas presents bought in which i have reached over my £500 target. Thats good news. With the run up to Christmas i am spending a bit more then usual but a few matched bets have come to the rescue. Ideally would of liked to pay towards a credit card but its had to go on a few extras towards Christmsa clothes for kids etc.

Still i have not touched my credit card at all..

Also recieved £50 of vouchers from work which can go towards whatever. Will probably by all the munchies with these for over Christmas so the normal shop will still be the same.

Statements due in next few days so will update then with a new plan of attack for next year!!!

Thanks Kirsten your doing very good yourself:T

Right so i have statements in and total debt now is £6529.
Having not paid much onto it this month as its gone on Christmas. Have got well over the £500 Christmas budget and that stands around the £600 mark. I have paid just over £100 from matched betting this month and thats gone on kids clothes and new shoes etc for Christmas so all in all still a good month. And most important i still have been near that credit card.:j
Think i made a typo last month saying my cc target was £6100. Dont know where that figure came from but im happy with what it is now. A total of £750 roughly paid off since i started this thread.
Im please with this and a good end to the year me thinks.;)

    Now onto next year.

Its my Mums 60th in March so im looking at something special for that. I need emergancy funds, needs credit card paid off and also need to save for a wedding....ouch.....so to mix it up a bit to keep me motivated i going for the snowball tactic.
    1. A minimum of £300 paid onto cards each month £225 miniumu payment and an extra £75 from any other means.
    2. A minimum of £115 into saving fund each month also

The extra £75 will come from matched betting mostly, cash back etc and the £115 will be the £100 that goes into my credit union and £15 from my wages each month. But this is a bare minimum. After the first extra £75 going onto cards anything over will go into savings up to another £75. Then anything over the first £150 extra i make will go onto cards.
The snowball effect paying off an extra £75 has given me a debt free date of 30 months.
    Targets.
    1. £260 saved by Februarys statments. (middle of the month)
    2. On track with the snowball paying off an extra £120 by February statments (slightly less due to Christmas.
    3. Capital One card paid off by the end of July.
    4. Looking at having the venue booked for wedding middle of June.

So a few thing to keep track on and aim for. The more i make the more i save and the quicker the debt goes.

    Happy 2010:beer:
