Dinah - You ar ethe only person I know who would manage to up her money when struggling towards the end of the month hehe. I do like the house , would be a good starter if you couldn't find exactly what you wanted.0

I find the easiest way is to do my ten posts which = 1000 pts. Then I go into a slot room and cash in 1000 pts. Then i set it to max bet and just keep spinning. Each time I win some points I cash them out (there is a little button to do this). Then I just keep playing till I have used all my points up.0

Ta wendz, hopefully that'll help NIM. He's built up a big stash of about 6000 points now, so needs to do something with them to make them useful!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Another house came up last night which caught our attention.
That's lovely! Must be a bit of bother getting up that drive though. Eek! If you ever fancy moving to sunny old Doncaster I saw this and thought of you and NIM! The garden is maaaassive.
Sounds like you've had a super lucky weekend moneywise, well done to NIM for beating the Bookie too!
Been making to-do lists this morning, but my mum has decided we're going out this afternoon to get new motorbiking gear ready for Winter. Joys!0 -

Another house came up last night which caught our attention. In town but a nice enough area in it. Looking at the aerial photos for some reason this one has the biggest garden on the street by far, we could replace the garage with a proper brick one in time, and put a playroom or something down the side as there is a really wide gap. It's also perfectly within budget?
Hello, that looks pretty good! 3 good-sized bedrooms too AND teeny study for all your moneymaking AND a potential loft conversion... It would keep you busy for a few years
Excellent moneysaving at the weekend too!
I wish my stomach would shrink! I'm not losing weight, but I'm definitely changing shape (must be all that spinning and miscellaneous exercise) but I still love eating! OH took me on a proper Saturday night date to Foxy's - a rotisserie/grill place where the chef brings you out a slab of raw meat and asks you to choose how much you want (lots, please!) - it's very dangerous!!LBM Sep 2008 debt: £27,927.04start weight: 140.2, week 2: 1380 -
Lol I love going out too, but I'm kind of good at just eating salads and cereal bars the rest of the time!
I didn't even notice the study as well, it's perfect - I want it!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Stop me wanting houses we can't afford one yet and I'm not actually mentally ready to move out yet! I keep convincing myself living at home is the best thing financially, but that house is selling at 2003 levels, would suit us perfectly, mortgage is a perfect level.... no deposit, that has to be my method of house contraception to prevent me jumping on one!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Eek! Sorry! Basically it's a very pretty but very run down 3 bedroomed cottage (built in 1720 it says) with 0.7 acres of land outback. Only 110k too!
What house could you buy at 2003 level? What's 2003 level anywho?
Just done what Wendz said on Bingoport with my forum points - put 800 points in and got 750 back so not bad at all! How many is it for amazon vouchers? About 8000 for £5?0 -
Oooh sounds perfect Cinny. Shame it'd be such a long commute!
The house I linked in post 929 - see the blue 'house' word? Click it2003 level - the level houses in that street sold at in 2003. Can get the data from a variety of house price websites but all bought and sold prices are recorded and are public data, so most astute buyers will check see what price the house last sold for to gauge if it is likely to be in NE etc.
