So OH came home at 3:30 this morning, i was still awake and we lay awake til 5am talking about everything that has been happening and what we're going to do about it. We eventually went to sleep at bout 5:30 and when i woke up at 11 OH was gone - to be honest i really panicked until i found out where he was.
He went into town this morning, bought us both new sim cards and has told all our friends that under no circumstances is she to get either of our numbers. Quite a few of them admitted they didnt realise how much her behaviour was upsetting me, and they didnt realise some of the messages she has been sending.

He then rang her off his old number and told her he wanted nothing more to do with her and she was not to contact either of us.
We have both acknowledged the fact that we may still see her around, but hes said he wants nothing to do with her anymore.

  • Aw Flower I'm so pleased for you - actions speak louder than words and I think this shows you exactly how he feels about you, it obviously did a lot of good having a long talk last night. OH and I had a little bit of a blow out yesterday basically because he was doing things that annoyed/hurt me but even though I'd be off with him he really didn't realise how I felt til I had a big screaming fit about it and it all came out. I'm really starting to think it's true that men really don't know something til it's spelt out for them, I think I've always given them too much credit in the past!

Well done on all the ebaying too, I'm going to take some pics now for Thursday.

Wendz, well done on the bingo, hope it comes through for you! I'm tempted to try it but am scared I'll get carried away and spend all my wages!

Hi Lara, nice to have you back! Glad Paris was good even if it was tiring and well done on saving the last of the uni fees, bet you're excited about gearing up to enrol?

Went to Pizza Hut last night and ordered lots without realising our voucher was only valid Mon-Thurs! Was a bit embarrassing being refused it! Went to see Inglourious Basterds which was really really good I thought, anyone else seen it? Bought some red cards to make into crimble cards today so need to get started on that soon :)

I think i have to agree there. I dont think it was until we had this huge arguement that OH realised just how bad things were getting with the situation. And in a strange kind of way im glad we had the arguement, it was an awful day but today just proved the way he feels. And like you say actions do speak louder.

    Hi Girls! (And guys!)

I'm so glad things have been resolved Flower, what a darling your OH has been to do that! It's good to know that his friends now know more about what has been going on with her, maybe they'll realise what a nasty piece of work she is and won't want to hang around with her too much so you don't have to run into her!

Tete, we went to see Inglorious Basterds a couple of weeks ago, I thought it was good but OH wasn't too mad on all the subtitles! I thought Brad Pitt was good in it, I loved his Italian! LOL!

Wild West party last night went well, really good fun but I'm suffering today! My food went down well so it was worth slaving over a hot stove all day since it all got eaten and complimented! Here are pictures of my burger cakes, they were brilliant if I say so myself and really quite simple to make!

Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

It's an expensive business making cards though isn't it? It'll have cost be about £18 for 30 cards by the time I'm done!

    Hi everyone,

Had a nice weekend in Oxford, feeling a bit worse for wear today, didn't get much sleep. Was a nice party and we didn't end up going out so saved money yay.

Flower - glad you and OH managed to sort that all out. It does show that he cares about you a lot more than her.

Have requested a cheque now for the bingo money, as paid by credit card said I had to get it by cheque. Just see what happens now!

The subtitles were my favourite bit, I like a bit of foreign! Loved Brad's language skills too, hahaha!

Those cakes look absolutely fab, even better than the pics you showed us!! :T
My Hummingbird Blondies were a bit dry :undecided

Wow they look really good!! Glad you had a good time aswell.

It is indeed!! Even more expensive when your just starting and dont have all the basics! Luckily think i am getting there with all the basics now. Think OHs blood pressure goes up whenever i mention hobbycraft though :rotfl:

Oh and also in other good news, OH ended up working an extra 8 hours to make up for money he spent, and he also got 10pound in tips lastnight aswell.

Flower, I'm really glad that you've got it all sorted. I agree - sometimes you do have to spell it out to boys! But it's definitely a good sign that he made so much effort to put it right, aww.

Birdie, those cupcakes look amazing! Did you get your boy to help out with your mammoth list yesterday?! Otherwise, you truly are superwoman :T

I want to see Inglourious Basterds, but I went to see Broken Embraces last weekend instead (it was reeeally good!) and I find that cinemas always show films at stupid times, especially during the week - 6pm is too early if I'm working and 9pm is too late for a school night!!

Yay Christmas! I've just signed up for a one day cake decorating course in November, so I'll be able to make my own things for my Christmas cake!
