Yay Christmas! I've just signed up for a one day cake decorating course in November, so I'll be able to make my own things for my Christmas cake!
Ooh wow, if you need anyone to test them
:D:D
OH and i are watching Home Alone, why on earth is it on at this time of the year? Its really making us want to go to New York. I have been before when i was younger but would love to go just before christmas - well a girl can dream :rolleyes:Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
I find that cinemas always show films at stupid times, especially during the week - 6pm is too early if I'm working and 9pm is too late for a school night!!
Exactly! I'm ALWAYS chuntering on about this! I really want to see Broken Embraces, need to wait a few weeks I think for the independent cinema to show it. How exciting on the cake decorating course! Is it specifically for Christmas cakes or just general? Might be one to look at after the dressmaking ... !
Birdie I've been looking at yur pics on FB, you really didn't do it by halvs did you?! I loved the cactus and all the wanted posters! And you looked fab in your netty thing - nice legs!!!
Taken photos of about 20 things for ebay, going to try and write some descriptions over the next few nights so it's not too onerous a task on Thursday. For now, some Dooyoo :rolleyes:Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Flower - Sorry to hear about your fall out with your OH! Glad you've made it up though, and that your OH has changed your mobile numbers. Hopefully it'll keep that woman out of your lives for some time!My food went down well so it was worth slaving over a hot stove all day since it all got eaten and complimented!
The cupcakes did look pretty amazing though Birdie!! Just seen the pictures on FB too - It looked fab!
Hope you've all had a nice weekend! I've had a serious vegging out one, spent last night watching movies with OH (Dead Snow and Ghost) and then went to the Cinema today to see District 9 and Julie and Julia, surprisingly loved District 9 but wasn't too keen on J&J but then it might be because I went to see it with OH and he was complaining. Ate way too much to so back on the diet tomorrow. Fun!0 -
Wendz, d says I need to play through my money on Bingoport, whats she on about? This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0

Going on a 5 mile walk tomorrow so hopefully that will make up for some of it.Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
The walk sounds good Flower!! Had this weird Banana curry last night, half way through it I was thinking 'I'd so love a salad over this!' surely I should be eating healthy food daydreaming of junk food not the other way around?!
NIM - I think you have to go on the slots and bingo rooms? Never really understood Bingoport but those slots are sooo addictive - good job it's free really!0 -

I know what you mean Cinny, we had a chinese last week and i felt so sick and bloated afterwards. On the plus side i definatly think my stomach has shrunk because i cant finish a full size meal that i would normally of had. OHs mum keeps joking that my meals are now the same portion size as a childs.Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
Totally know what you mean Cinny, but I still feel I have to eat it so as not to waste anything, even if I'm not enjoying it!
Good weekend considering we did no moneymaking really as the electricity was off. NIM had one bookies MS, where he won £16 + his £2 bet back, (+ £5 from the company for doing it), then we got 3 packs of beef in Tesco reduced from £6.99 a pack to £1.80 each, which we have frozen for using at the party. Then coming out of Tesco we found £10 on the floor of the car park! So we're going out for dinner on Saturday with some friends from church, should only cost £15-£20 for the two of us, but we didn't think we could afford it and now we should be able to just scrape in under the wire. So now we have £34 left to last us till payday - things are getting better!
Went to another wedding fayre yesterday, too late, most people had gone home. Did get a free voucher for a consultation at an orthodontics practice. A nice lady showed me the white braces, invisalin braces and lingual braces, which go around the inside of the teeth and are my favourite.
We've also started to make appointments to go see venues, scary process. I like the place that gives you a glass of champagne with your visit!
Another house came up last night which caught our attention. In town but a nice enough area in it. Looking at the aerial photos for some reason this one has the biggest garden on the street by far, we could replace the garage with a proper brick one in time, and put a playroom or something down the side as there is a really wide gap. It's also perfectly within budget, ie under it, and we could comfortably afford the repayments. If our 'dream' house doesn't come up that we can stretch to (ie one in the villages) then we're likely to go for something like this, and move again in 5 years or so, as we should be able to overpay this mortgage, where we couldn't if we stretched.
Birdie did you ever hear back about selling the flat, or have things settled down now?Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Sorry I late to reply to this NIM. Any points you get through posting etc you need to either play through on the bingo or slots. Anything you win from doing that you can save up and redeem but you have to have played the posting points. It is so that you can't just post everyday and then redeem.0

How do you 'play through' wendz? How do you know how many of the points have played through?!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
