Oh yes, its weigh in day. Anyone done it?
I weighed in this morning. I'm not happy. I also got another period this morning, my third in four weeks. So acording to the scales I've put on 4lbs this week. I'm ignoring this and blaming it on the TOTM, however since I seem to continually be at TOTM atm, I might have to stop ignoring it soon. Or get my implant taken out and go onto the pill.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Thanks for the ideas! The tagine sounds yummy... don't think OH would like it though. He's got better at trying new food but it's still a struggle! I'm tempted to do CMD's idea, with not as much gravy (don't understand how people can't like gravy!), and do it with dumplings and veg. I'm craving winter food!
Well done CMD on getting under 15k! You've done amazingly well. :T
I think I'm gonna go to M&S in a mo and see if they're still doing their meat deal. We had chicken in chilli, ginger and coriander the other night and it was lush.Total Debt (Dec 2015) £11,500 : Currently £7,675Lose 21lb : 0/21

I haven't weighed in cuz I know I'll have put on... I might do it later though just see how much I've put on.
I had the implant taken out, then went on the injection, then stopped that a few months ago but I haven't had a period yet which I find a bit odd. But you having loads of periods is also quite odd! Maybe see your doctor?Total Debt (Dec 2015) £11,500 : Currently £7,675Lose 21lb : 0/21

You poor woman! Have you been to the doctors yet?
I've decided to drop the weight challengeI'm happy with my weight and figure now, still admittedly a tad doughy but I like that. So I'm just going to watch what I eat. Good luck to the rest of the dieters though
Yum, Dumplings! My mum did a stew last week with lots of ale and massive dumplings. I was in heaven!0 -

After abotu a year to 18 months on the implant it always starts going a bit mental, but its bang on a year now which is a really short time! I think I am going to have to go onto the pill, which does concern me as I'm not great at remembering.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

No haven't been to the doctors, going to have to if this doesnt settle down though.
Aye thats a good call Cinny, no point dieting if you are happy and healthy! I hate any trace of doughy on me, which is why I'm continuing, most people would be happy to be a 10!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I think I may have to give up on the weight challenge too as don't think I am unhappy enough to have the motivation.
That is bad about the periods Dinah. I was on the pill for years but came off a couple of months ago as have heard stories of people on the pill for ages not being able to concieve so giving my body a break. My periods are all over the place now though.0 -
I'm not worried about hormonal contraception as its more reliable and every study i've seen says there is no higher rate of infertility amongst people who have been on hormonal contraception to those who havent, at the end of the day unfortunately some people are always going to have problems getting pregnant. I just have problems with continual periods!
I'm not mega unhappy with my body like I was 4 months ago, but another half stone as a minimum would be nice, just get that last bit off my legs, hips and tummy. I guess wanting to be tip top for my wedding photos is a big motivation - I'd hate to have little muffin tops around the top of my dress or the straps to cut in or anything. Plus all those honeymoon photos in a bikini! :eek:Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
