No point looking at rental places until you are ready to move out, as they go really quickly. Have you discussed how money would work after you move out, as obviously you won't be bringing in an equal ammount so you need to be sure you're on the same page before moving in together. Its no use one of you having loads of spare cash and the other scraping by trying to pay equally. But by the same token you don't want one person resenting the other for not pulling their weight.
Okay, I've had less calories than that today! Have had 503 in total so far today. Have past my flapjack craving as I would rather have a proper tea.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

How have you managed on 503?! I'm completely famished on 600-odd!Have you discussed how money would work after you move out, as obviously you won't be bringing in an equal ammount so you need to be sure you're on the same page before moving in together.
Nope, OH will be bringing in roughly 1/3rd more than me. Last time I spoke to OH about it the plan was as he gets paid once a month to use his for Rent, Bills ect then use my weekly wage to live off of during the month - Food, entertainment and such! Then anything left at the end of the month will be put into a joint saver for Holidays, Christmas, yadda yadda. (She says!) We almost share our money anyways, so it won't be such a big change.0 -

Sound slike a good idea to live together first Cinny by renting. Would be awful if you bought a place together and then it didn't work.
I like the present idea Tete - I think they will appreciate something nice they can cherish.0 -
Well update on the proposal , OH is saying he isn't going to ask me on my birthday and it could happen anytime. At least now I won't be expecting it on my birthday, so can relax ... a little bit anyway hehe.0
