These two bits of software: Beyond Compare (commercial) and Agent Ransack (free). Between them they have saved me literally weeks of frustrating effort and, by extension, have extended my life by the same amount.
Also my phone, with built in GPS. Unbelievable! Although, contrary to popular belief, much better software than TomTom is available,
So, I can't use Ozzy Osbourne voices with it? I won't lose any sleep over that.0 -

My ICOM IC-7400 Radio, hours of fun. :beer:Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.0

For the reasons explained in an earlier thread, my Junghans Mega Solar watch.
It's powered by light, it synchs by radio to an atomic clock and it's outstandingly and discreetly elegant.
For ten years it has kept split-second accuracy, adjusted itself for Daylight Saving, leap years and leap seconds and has been entirely self-sufficient for energy.
What it does and how it does it is utter perfection in concept, design, manufacture and execution.
I just treated myself to a Citizen Skyhawk Titanium for the same reasons. It's a wonderful watch. There's love in this world for everyone. Every rascal and son of a gun.
It's for the many and not the few. Be sure it's out there looking for you.

Samsung LE40B650 - 1080p, 40 inch LCD TV with 4 x HDMI, 2 x USB and ethernet connection for DLNA. Superb picture quality, reasonable sound for a flat screen, and lots of menus and settings to fiddle around with.0

We bought the 37B650 a few months back. I was playing around with the DLNA facilty last night. Play On worked perfectly, but doesn't support iPlayer unfortunately. I'm trying TVersity (which does support iPlayer), but it's trickier to set up. Great telly though. There's love in this world for everyone. Every rascal and son of a gun.
