My N82 is a great gadget, GPS Sports Tracker, great camera with flash, wirelessly synchronise with all sorts, lots of great free software - only downside is the appalling battery life :(

I agree with you totally - plus, its flash is Xenon, you can always carry a spare fully-charged battery and it can run a 16 GB microSD card in its expansion slot. It synchs with Macs and you don't need to pay O2 an exorbitant "tethering fee" to let it act as a Bluetooth modem for your laptop. Mine cost me less than £150 to buy and it runs on a £5 monthly tariff with 200 cross-network minutes and unlimited Internet. No way would I swap it for an iPhone! It's a :) , not a :( .

Don't laugh at banana republics. :rotfl:

As a result of how you voted in the last three General Elections,
you'd now be better off living in one.

    Debt-free and Proud!
My eee pc 701. Might not be the quickest, but it does everything I need, and has been faultless in the 18months of constant use.

Ipod for the simplicity of having all my tunes in one bit of tech which equals less clutter in the house.

Tomtom 1 for saving me a lot of time, were the town planners in the 60/70s on acid?
  • My TomTom - it has revolutionised car journeys for me.

My Archos media player - I can watch the previous night's TV recordings on the train on the way to work.

That looks really interesting, let us know how you get one when you've had a good play with it!

Will do. I just came back from work and it is here. It also happens that I have a gig tonight, and tomorrow. I will take it along and see what happens.

:jLogMeIn:j. Great bit of software. I've got it the free version installed on all my families comps and can help them out with their constant problems without leaving my desk.

I recently got a Netgear ReadyNAS Duo. Very well made, compact, quiet and does what it says on the tin - also have it running my Dell laser printer. I've never been one to religiously do backups each month now this gives me 500GB of mirrored RAID storage & I can upgrade it by putting in bigger disks.
    :T

I'm not usually one for sticking with single brands, of any sorts but I have to say I've grown very fond of netgear. I started off with a netgear dg834 router many many years ago (which is still going). Based on it's reliance I've always made router purchases from netgear, having gone with the dg834v3 for wireless, then later the GS108 for gigabit and recently the DGN2000 for wireless -n. No complaints, even with the latter I was very skeptical about and only purchased as a filler until netgear finally release the WNDR3700 which incorporates absolutely everything I want from a router. It's finally on pre-sale, well, atleast overseas.
  • It'd be a toss up between my Nokia E71 and my iPod Classic...

However - today my Lacie 'internet space' Network Hard disk (500gb) arrived.. i look forward to plugging that into my router and setting that up tonight
