declutter and dust the mantle putting back only what should be there

Clear and wipe window sills, and any electricals and picture frames etc

- HHI x 3!
- Wipe the paintwork and bannisters
- Wash any windows that have been neglected
- pay Next bill
- bake a banana cake
- book tickets for Harrogate show
- phone tax credits to change childcare amount
- buy shower curtain from primark
- buy wool for mil to knit cardi
- phone eden hall and change booking
- order jam jars and blanching net thingy from lakeland and try to resist further purchases!

That's the one I'm using
but it only has the maths for the square, not a circle! I'm sure I should have learnt this at school, and if I'd known it had a practical use it might have stayed in my brain!
The formula for a cylinder is the square of the radius, times pi, times the height - ensuring all measurements are in the same units.
But the easy way to do it would be to fill the cake-tin with water and pour it into a measuring jug and convert from fl oz to cubic inches. 1 fl oz = 1.73 cubic inches.
(Alternatively, using metric, 1 ml = 1 cubic centimetre = 0.06 cubic inches.)0 -
