gandb I may look at the book you recommend. I am losing slowly but SW needs me to continually make different foods to the rest of the family. DH is still losing and he didn't need to lose any weight at all!!

It really is very good, my mum is doing it too, she hasnt lost much weight but has lost 4 inches off her waist. I dont cook anything different for anyone, we all eat the same thing. I'm really enjoying it, the book is also very funny and addresses the emotional relationship to food that most of us have. I feel great, i have loads of energy and i'm losing weight.

Actually i dont feel great today but that is down to lack of sleep and my sciatica playing me up something chronic:o

..what i have noticed though is that Stardrops isn't cutting it on the bathroom - it jsut doesn't get through the hard water marks like the stuff I used to use and there's beginning to be a build up. I'll have to buy something different I think.

What i have found that works (our sink was in a right state) was to put the stardrops on neat i left it for about 10mins, then used a non stick scourer and give it a bit of elbow grease and heh presto, i now have a sparkly sink. Once done i just wipe over with stardrops and microfibre cloth and it is staying lovely.

Worth another try before you buy anything else.

Good afternoon, was going to pop in earlier but then DP needed me to help take DS2s bed to pieces, which is now done and in pieces in the new house.....we're painting the blue bits black to match his new room so not going back together just yet. So he's on a mattress on the floor or the futon in DS1s room tonight.

We're differing in opinion on how to tackle moving, me personally I'd rather get everything boxed and then shift it all at once as this to-from all the time is doing me no good, prefer to cripple myself on one day instead of 5! I can also get help with box shifting but not with packing them, which DP doesn't do any of either. So we're having 10 minutes chill time, gather our thoughts and catch my breath as just cleared DS1s room then discuss. If you hear shouting, sorry :rotfl:

Rach, to be honest you could try as Jayne said but I find good old Cif (or equivalant own brand cheaper version/£1 shop) works wonders on water marks etc.

I've read through, elly wow 7, hope there is some wonderful homes lined up for them....argh I can't remember what else I was going to say now, bother! How about (((hugs))) for those who need/want one. Hope you are all doing something nicer than moving house this weekend :D

Best go 'discuss' with DP what we're going to do instead of what he thinks we're going to do....

Oh and offer compost bin and old petrol lawnmower on Freecycle, hint hint if anyone needs either of those.....
One day I might be more organised...........

Afternoon everyone. Feels funny today when I keep realising I dont got to work anymore. Im shattered and bit yuck as I ate too much rich food yesterday. I also feel a weight off my mind now as I dont have that responsibility. Ive sorted the bedroom and set my new tv up. Got a neat little unit from Argos.

Been up the street with DD to the jewellers. Im thinking of getting two necklaces Ive seen instead of a watch. One has a butterfly on and the other an angel. Spent a bit of time on finances and now debt free except for my mortgage. Have given DD a huge piece of the cake to take home for everyone and still loads here.

    Hugs for everyone.

lil_me Hope you get sorted with DP and good luck with the rest of the move.
elly2 OOOH what a lot of kittens. Hope the mummy and all the kittens are ok.
LadyL and Toots. Thinking of you both.

Been sorting out for a boots sale tomorrow. Haven't got the children tonight but need to be up at 5

Any one got any idea how much to price a car seat- from newborn and a travel cot with music things etc. Have never done a boot sale so am a little nervous. Hope I have priced things right. Don't want to e too highly priced but don' want to give them away ;)

Well done with your weight loss Rach. Need to try myself but think I will start when DS and DD are t school as at the moment I am a little distracted ;)
