    i is still living.

Nice to hear that Oddjob - how goes it?

Settee decluttered from DD's flat to friend's garage successfully. The guy didn't let me down which was brilliant. Maybe there's hope for him yet!

Now I have to go to the front room and sort it. DD has already brought one car load of boxes over and they're all on the living room floor at the mo! Some can go to NN's (she offered storage space in her front room last night) - the crockery and things that she won't be needing to use whilst she's here.

It's going to be a busy day I fear

    Afternoon all :hello:

Sorry i've not been around for ages or kept up with anyones news, work has been busy and i've had two weeks off and not really done any cleaning. I did pop in last week with good intentions, but couldn't get going.

Is anyone cleaning today who fancies some HHC's? I really need some motivation to work my way through the house as I have visitors coming at 5. I'm feeling a bit flat today and can't shake myself out of it, its our Wedd Ann, but DH is working until late this afternoon so really want to get things done, before he arrives home.

    First..

    [STRIKE]
    washing on the line
    bring washing downstairs
    hoover upstairs
    dust
    clean bathroom

    good afternoon,

I have only just got up. I had a bad night and then DH left me sleeping this morning.
Orkney star, I would like a bad back and knitting smurf too. Not the card making though! And now I can't knit because of my bad elbow too :( I hope your LO is not poorly.
elly2 What an amazing number of kitties. I hope mummy cat is okay. And you too, not too tired after your disturbed night.
greenbee I am going to Newbury next weekend. Off to another wedding!
gandb I may look at the book you recommend. I am losing slowly but SW needs me to continually make different foods to the rest of the family. DH is still losing and he didn't need to lose any weight at all!!
Hello OddjobKIA good to see you back
Have fun pigpen and enjoy seeing your friend!
Fee, Its good to hear from you, just keep posting on here when you can. Are you anywhere near anyone here who can pop in to give some support?
    ffp How are you doing?

Was it rach who mentioned MBTs again. Thanks, I forgot to put them on this morning/afternoon. They are supposed to help my back by improving core muscles. A pity they cant't do anything for my elbow!

DK Was it you ages ago that suggested Gift from the Sea to me. I have just promised my copy to my sister who seems to be in the same pickle I was last year with 5 adults at home and her 'doing' everything and not having any time to herself. It helps to put everything in perspective.
In two weeks time I will be down to just DH, me and DS2 at home. It is a very strange thought after all these years of having a houseful of young people. I hope they come home at weekends to start with. DD just lives over the hill with SIL too so I will see them a lot.
