Did not know it was a sin to give children tinned spaghetti for breakfast must call in the food police ,at least the child is getting breakfast many a child will go to school with an empty tummy .
You sound to me as if you look down your nose at her, why not just leave be and go and live your life as you see fit and leave her to live her life .

I think anyone who thinks a tin of spaghetti is a nutricious breakfast has some serious issues... I don't think it's a nutricious meal - let alone breakfast. Is it any wonder childhood obecity is on the up?
Would I look down my nose at anyone feeding their child that kind of diet? ehhhh YES!!!! I'd pawn my soul before I fed my child rubbish like that! If she can afford a computer and internet connection she can afford tesco own brand cereal and milk.

why don't you just call social services? they can make your SIL do a parenting assessment, which she will probably fail by the sound of it, and will be very closely watched by them and won't be able so do the on the side earning as SIL2 might feel stigma about leaving her child with someone pronounced unfit. At least you'll have done something for the kids!

Are you jealous of her? Is that what this is about? Would you actually like her life?

I really hope you never end up on benefits with random busybodies getting all uptight about an undeclared £30 per week. I'm a tax payer and nothing winds me up more than fellow tax payers and their miserly winges at those on the bottom of the socio-economic heap. I don't expect any of you feel the same level of rage towards fat-cat bosses and the way big business drains our tax resources (to the tune of far more than the benefits bill). No, it's easier to put the boot in to the most needy in society isn't it. Why don't you go out and kick a few tramps and refugees while you're at it.

Or maybe you could take a good look in the mirror, identify a few faults of your own, and work on improving those. Ultimately it will be time better spent.

Totally against benefit cheats BUT, I have a lot more sympathy towards a single mum doing a little job for £50 a week than the "pretend single mums" who are too bone idle to work & are claiming benefits & got a man supporting them too. Or the lazy couples that raise their kids without ever working.

i dunno why people r bringing different crimes into this for like drink driving and cars being stole etc, if someone where to steal my car r break into my house r stab me would i want them charged? yes and no, no because i think a lot of the sentences in the uk r a joke for a lot of things, me persoanlly i would rather get my own justice, eye for an eye etc, but thankfully i've never been in that situation, as i say again if she is jailed it's gonna cost a hell of a lot more so trying to save the country some money you'll actually cost the country more in the long run because she will still be getting her benefits and fair play to her, do i pay tax, yes i pay plenty of tax, and i don't smoke to the person who asked did i spend my money on cigs, by the way outta that £50 if she has to pay for food for the kids etc and is minding them for 8 hours a day i would actually be asking for a pay rise from the sister in law as she's taking the pi55 at only £50 a week

If she's on means-tested benefits, it is some else's business. The forms ask about any money you have coming in.

I'm always surprised by the people who don't see cheating as a crime. If she was shoplifting, should that be ignored too?

Living on benefits is very hard but this is a fit young woman whose child is going to school but who prefers to live off everyone else's taxes!

It's probable that everything is done in cash so the authorities might not be able to take any action but it's a shame for the child that he's going to grow up with such a role model.
you dont have to delare any money givin to you by a family member obviuosly its difficult to explain once every weel

I love tinned spaghetti on toast as does my grandchild all things in moderation as they say and I am far from obese in fact I am the same size now as I was when I was 18 and I am now in my 50's .My granddaughter also very slim and active .
I was always told a little of what you fancy does no harm at all and if I want spaghetti on toast I shall continue to enjoy it ,I do eat it with wholemeal bread and a glass of milk or fruit juice ,mind you I do give my granddaughter ham on her sandwiches maybe some one should call in social services .

Hi, the benefits fraud line keeps details completely confidential. You do not need to give over any of your details. Dont even say its your SIL, just give the details. The line i worked for (not benfit fraud but still took details if someone called up) only took the details of the person being reported. And they do deal with the reports!!

Personally I would report them cos Im sick of working my !!! off, albiet on maternity the now, and having to striggle by when others can claim mega money for doing nothing. Just doesnt seem fair but then life aint fair.
