read some of the militance nurse on link sorry just had to give up , was in tears nearly poor nurse Ann.
i find if you have to go in to hospital you need to arrange friends to come in and look after you these days (very wrong) a friend was in for 8 weeks , and we went in different time's to take food lotion's, and help . he spent most of one day with one slipper as other one under bed and was unable to get it. had to wait for us.his skin was very dry ( i have lots medical knowledge but for horses !) told him,to ask doc about some cream to put on..only to hear back doc said o. should had arranged for that couple weeks ago ! put on every 4 hour's. he got told of for having 2 much in the fridge ! (food) chap in next bed, got jealous and asked did he have his own agency nurses in and could he borrow them ?
the best thing is to take with you a large assortment of sweets and display them all with a notice help your self guaranteed to get staff flocking a round your bed at all times !the truth is out there ... on these pages !!0 -

I just rang my Dad to see how he is and his wife answered, he's waiting for an ambulance to take him back to hospital again as he's still being sick ! I think he's been trying to cover it up from us all.
Got to go and pick up gd now as I've got her this afternoon, at least an a few hours playing dollies, painting and playdough should take my mind off it all for a while.Real stupidity beats artificial intelligence every time.

Hi purplecatlover
Don't mean to intrude on this thread but have just noticed a couple of things about Eon I thought I might be able to help with.
Sounds as though you could be on one of our price protection tariffs which are ending on 1 October 2009.
If this is the case, you will receive a letter advising this and proposing a replacement tariff. The new tariff will have higher prices than you are currently paying but guarantees these will not increase until 2011.
You don't have to go on this tariff and now might be a good time to look around for a better deal. The comparison sites are a good place to start. Pop your usage in and see how we stack up.
As you are on the Priority Services Register I would also give our Caring Energy team a call. This team specialises in offering vulnerable customers a straightforward route into a range of products and services to help reduce bills.
They can advise on tariffs and payment methods as well as tell you about any offers/benefits you might be entitled to. They give general energy efficiency advice too. Definitely worth having a chat with them.
For example, customers on the Priority Services Register are entitled to a free gas safety check each year. This is to detect unsafe appliances and harmful carbon monoxide emissions. :j
You say there was a mess up with meter readings previously. Has this been sorted out now?
Again, as a Priority Services customer you are entitled to have your meter read each quarter at a time to suit you. You do, however, need to call in to arrange this.
There is also a password security facility available to protect against bogus callers.
Make sure you are being billed to accurate readings and not estimates. Estimated bills can give a false impression of usage/costs.
Just a heads up, if you don't contact us or change suppliers you will automatically be put on the tariff advised in the letter.
Don't worry if this happens as you can move easily without being charged an exit fee; although it is worth knowing we don't give discount on final bills when you change supplier.
Hope this helps a little. Give me a shout if you need more info. Always happy to help.
