    Hiya

Try not to worry, as they do seem to work in big batches and send big batches out the same time. That is how I remember them working when they were dealing with one of mine a few years ago.;)

From what I can recall, after they finished the calculations, Deloittes forward the final result and calculation to the FSCS to have it all offficialised to pay out.

I am going by my own experience, as this was the same procedures as you have been going with yours too.

    You should be fine.

So have you any separate letters from both the FSCS & Deloittes by any chance with their own direct numbers enclosed?
I no longer have my paperwork on hand, but I do recall receiving a letter from Deloittes and FSCS with their own business telephone numbers.

    Hi Di,
I bet your fed up with me moaning now haha its just the not knowing is sooooo frustrating, the only letter we have is from FSCS but the number you ring takes you to either the welcome claims bit or through to deloittes, the lady said you cant speak to anyone in FSCS you just have to wait for the letter you think they would be able to give you some idea especially if Deloittes are paid to do all the leg work for FSCS then surely they will know the answer as i cant see them doing all the work for it to be sent back and refused. x

LOL:rotfl::D...........I can understand how you feel and I was the same, it can be very frustrating. No I'm not fed up and I don't see it as you moaning, I just see that you are very anxious to know what is going on.

I'm sure hubby did ring Deloittes when they were dealing with ours, but it's been some-time now though, maybe they changed with lots of claims to deal with via in relation of not now being able to contact them for an update.

Hope you hear soon, and I'm sure you will xx:)

Just to point out to anyone else trying to claim ALL of the contact information on the FSCS website takes you to deloittes as i emailed through the FSCS website today and got one back from deloittes, so confusing lol.

So i assume if it says the case is completed then a decision has been made and i just have to wait for letter;) x

    Hi,
I have read forums on here for ages but this is the first time i have needed to post. Please can someone help.
We took out a loan in Oct 2006 with Freedom finance. Out of the blue last year we recieved a letter from FSCS and deloitte telling us we were eligable for a claim. We filled in the forms and returned them to the FSCS who have eventually come back to use to tell us the loan was brokered by Bespoke finance(we were unaware of this). Who are based in Gibraltar and therefore not covered under the FSCS scheme.
On further investigation i have found out not only are Bespoke based in gibraltar they are also in liquidation.
Can anyone please tell me how i can claim the £6000 compensation i am due. No one seems to be accepting responsibilty. I have no idea how a company based and regulated within the UK can pass on unknowing customers to a company based outside the UK without their knowledge and consent. My loan was with GE Money and was paid off in 2008. Has anyone ever had any success??
