Hi
(did paste this in another place but thought id try here as well)
im very confused by all this and am waivering between thinking we will probably not get anything or maybe a few hundred quid to thinking we may get a few thousand
hoping someone can help me calculate my potential redress before i go bonkers trying to work it out.
we took out a loan with picture in 2007 for £24000 added to this was £5988 ppi. we pay £279.84 a month in repayments and the term of the loan is 240 months.
we have had the loan for 5 years now and got ncb at yr 3, 4 and 5. the cover from the ppi has now ended (although we are still paying for it.. ggrrrrrrr) this totalled no more than £3000
i cant tell from the credit agreement if the interest ios 9.5% or 9.9%??
im really confused by it all tbh and cant believe that we are still paying for such shocking ppi- which was almost sold to us a a way of saving money from the NCB!
Any way thanks in advance- hoping someone can help!
thanks0 -
Hi all, I've had a look through this forum as I always find the advice here fab, and now I'm a bit worried that I've put to much info on my form.
I havent sent it in yet (I was going to send it in tomorrow)
I took a loan out with Picture in 2006 the loan was 20k, the ppi was £4k, the term of the loan was 300 months, interest rate 9.516%
When I took out the loan I was in severe financial difficulties and was desperate for the money so that I could consolidate my other debts
The loan was arranged over the phone and I was really left with the impression that the ppi would assist in the credit application, complete lies but at the time as I said I was desperate so I agreed to it. I also had no idea that all the interest was front loaded.
According to another contributor to this forum, it's best to keep the form I fill in simple and go with one complaint point? Is this the case? If so which one should i use?
I would really appreciate some advice because I'm really concerned that I've not filled this form in correctly0 -
Just fill in the form as honestly and clearly as you can. It's much better in your own words, but ask someone who doesn't already know all the details to proofread it before you send it off!
Don't worry that you've gone into too much detail, just make sure you don't leave anything out.0 -
ok thanks Moneyineptitude I'll do that x0

Hi all me again I'm just looking for some guidance if possible please,
I filled in the FOS questionnaire and sent it recorded delivery to the FSCS last Monday. I was advised to do this by picture ltd who I am claiming against.
The problem is that I haven't heard anything, is this normal? Or should I contact the FSCS to may sure they have received it? I have tried filling in their online form but I'm constantly getting error messages when I try to submit it, which has happened about 15 times.
Should I just wait for them to contact me?
Any help would be appreciated

Hi,
You check check the postal track and trace ref number on the receipt, on the Royal mail website.
You could though contact the FSCS on Monday just to make sure the form is received, and they will contact you in due course.
As Picture as already in default, then hopefully the case should not take that long.
Fingers crossed.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Thanks di3004 I'll do that,
I've got my fingers and toes crossed!!0 -
Definitely check that they have received it, I returned my FSCS forms by special delivery and tracked it, Deloitte still managed to lose it!!0
