Companies in Default/FSCS Claims - Picture, London Scottish, Twopart

Rang them and they said that they need more info re the last loan because I'm paying it back via a debt company and not to London scottish or Robinson way. So now i'm worried because I'm only paying back a monthly minimum on a pretty big outstanding balance I might not get anything. I've got to send them details of the payment scheme I've doing with the debt company.
Basically I had 4 transactions with London scottish:
2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007. They said forget about 2004 since this FSCS doesnt cover that year; 2005 and 2006 are covered but 2007 one they need more info on.
Hmmmmmm?
About 3 weeks ago I got a call from deloitte saying that they got the info they wanted from Robinson Way and that they've got all the information they require now. They asked me to confirm my dob, address, etc. and to confirm I do not work for an insurer of any description etc.
She mentioned something about confirming my correct address to send a cheque to but could not comment about amount as that was for someone else to determine...to be honest I was in such shock I can't remember who that someone else is? the fscs?? dunno...
But still nothing yet in the post. Maybe I dreamt it; ah well here's hoping0 -

Hope some good news will follow, fingers crossed X;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
I called FSCS today. Latest update - they have been working on my case every day this week and it is now "under review" with an assistant manager.
Does anyone know what this means? Problem? ( I had previously been told that once FSCS got case back from deloitte, which was last week, that eveything was completed pretty much immediately but this has not been the case)
Thanks, K0 -

Hi Kazza
I think to what I can recall, its just procedure, as they review before making the cheque payment.
Mine was just over a year ago now since receiving my payment, but sure this is just what they do before making the payment.;)
Its normally reviewed with an assistant from the FSCS once its passed back from deloittes, just to make sure calcs are correct.
Good luck X:)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
More Success Guys as I've just heard that my 2nd claim has been upheld and a cheque is en-route
2 christmases on the trot thatnks to Pictures initial greediness:beer:
I've now started to look at Section 140a of the 2006 Consumer Creit Act as I'm thinking of challenging to have interest on the loan balance written off.
I don't mind paying back the capital as we did borrow the money and used it for home improvements, however I'll be dammed if they are going to make any money out of me now that I know how much they tried to screw me for!!
Has anyone looked at this section....on face value it seems to me that everybody here may have a case on some level.0 -
