    Thanks for that.

I have been chasing Deloitte and my insurance provider every day this week trying to get them to communicate with each other!!

Deloitte only need 1 piece of info to send my case for calcs but it is seriously like pulling teeth trying to get it sorted.

Premier Writers keep saying that they have not received the request for info and Deloitte are insisting they have sent it. I have all the info required but Deloitte will not accept it from me, only on a spread sheet direct from Premier.

Anyway, I was promised it would all be resolved yesterday so I will give them another hour and then phone to check.

Bhoywonder, the interest amount you rec'd is good. When did your loan date back to? Mine is nearly 6 years, from Jan 2005 so I'm just wondering approx how much interest I may receive. PPI amount was £8,900. No rebates or NBC.

    Many Thanks, K

We originally took the loan out with Picture in Sept 2006, I am not sure how the interest works however based on the fact that your loan is a couple of years longer than mines and you have not had any NCB I would hope the interest would be around the £5k mark.

fingers crossed for you and it will be worth it in the end. Just another note for everyone it basically took less than 2 weeks for the FSCS to make payment from when my case was passed to the calculator at deloittes.

    Thanks Bhoywonder.

I'm getting seriously annoyed with Deloitte this morning!

I have just called my insurance provider who say that Deloitte have not e mailed the spread sheet request yet again. They told me that they would definitely do it yesterday. I don't get it, they only need to send an a mail. The insurance guy has all the info ready for them but won't release it without the request.

    Ideas anyone? Thanks in advance

Personally i would get the email address for the lender and phone deloitte and i would insist that i stay on the line until they have sent the email accross. As they say they have already done it then it should only take a couple of minutes to forward this.

I would also then phone back the lender and check they received it and then hopefully things will start moving again for you.

It is very dissapointing the way you are being messed about.

Thank for the advice BW. I have already given everyone involved e mail addresses, tel nos, the whole workd and am getting nowhere.

Spoke to a manager in Deloitte this morning who has pretty much said that I need to let them get on with it :). He received a mail from FSCS yesterday asking him to treat my case as a priority and says he is doing this but that he has a procedure to follow and that it could still be weeks! Basically told me to butt out.

I have to phone him back next week for an update.

What I don't understand is why my case worker told me on Mon morning that if he rec'd the info from ins company that day as expected calcs could be done that day and passed back to FSCS on Mon or Tue.

After talking to the manager it suddenly seems much more complicated than that. Or maybe he is just covering his a** !

So, back to being patient I suppose.

    Update - some progress!!!

Have just received a message from Premier Writers that they have at long last sent the required info back to deloitte.

Now I just have to hope that Deloitte do not decide that they also need to contact Aviva (the underwriter) as the manager suggested yesterday. He said they may need to do this to confirm I did not claim on the policy. Premier Writers have confirmed that there were no claims on the policy so surely Deloitte should not need to duplicate this work?!

Anyway, at least it is one step forward.

    Update. Help anyone?

As above, Premier writers left me a message last Thursday morning to say that they had passed all the info to Deloitte.
So, this morning I phoned my case worker only to be told that they are still waiting on this info!

I just don't know who to believe. (Not entirely sure that my case worker in Deloitte has a notion what he's talking about).

I'm a bit reluctant to phone FSCS again as they have already asked the manager in Deloitte to treat case as urgent, due to me providing evidence of some financial hardship and I think if I phone them again today about Deloitte they will just think I'm being a pain in the a**:p

As far as I know info is sent via e mail in spread sheet format. Or is it sent by snail mail?

    Ideas anyone?
