I think we had this problem if i remember correctly, but the info they are waiting for is something to do with the "interest" up to date, but a year on you would think this would have been dealt with by now.
Especially if the business are already declared in default.

Mine had taken from about June 2008 and it was finally paid out in face a year this month Nov 2009. Yet mine had only taken a little longer because of the waiting of the business to be declared in default.

However, you could contact them and ask them "what details do they exactly require", if it is in regards of the interest, it would have to be uptodate details from the company/lender, otherwise I can't see any problem of them accepting other details. :) X

Di, the company has now been found in default so at least that bit is sorted.

Deloitte have all the info they need from lender re interest etc as from 2 weeks ago.

The only info they need now is from the Insurance company confirming policy no, term of policy, type of cover, cost of policy etc, all of which I have now but they will not accept these details from me.

I would definately get in touch with them again and make sure on this, tell them if its only those details they require, then you already have these, and its possibly the lender will only send the same details anyway.;)

    Hi Guys,

Just an update - I phoned FSCS this morning who said that Deloittes have updated the system saying that they are starting calculations (although the system does not say that they have received all the info they need - Can I assume that they must have received this?)

I decided to give the FSCS a call on the back of what Kazza had said.
To my delight I was informed that a cheque would be issued to me tomorrow. to say i was surprised would be an understatement as i had spoken to Deloittes last week and they said it could take another 4-6 weeks to deal with.

I thought I would chance my arm and ask if they could tell me how much it would be expecting the usual data protection etc etc we cant say.

But they did say and told me i would be getting just over £11,000. I am very surprised as this seems fairly high, but I am not complaining. i have had 2 ncb so far on a £12,000 ppi so I was expecting around £7,000 or £8,000 at a push.

Now hopefully if the cheques does get issued tomorrow I should have it by the weekend and finally start xmas shopping.

I would like to thank everyone on this site for all their help and advice from back in the day claiming bank charges until now and fingers crossed to everyone who is still waiting. I know it is a pain and stressful playing the waiting game but always remember these people were wrog in selling ppi and all these successes just proves it.

I will post once I actually receive the cheque with all the details.

No real update from me. Lender was asked for info re interest etc on 28th october, lender said they were busy and it could be 4 weeks called today and lender still not sent info to Deloittes. Lender can give it to me over phone and to deloittes over phone ut deloittes need it in writing in order to do 'assess' and do 'calculations'. We move in 3 weeks, it won't be settled by then.
    MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:

  • Hi Everyone,

I have been reading these threads with great exitement as I believe I was missold a PPi Policy by Picture 4 years ago through central capital, I have never recieved anything that told me that picture had gone bust, Can any of you advise me on the quickest and easiest way of getting the ball rolling with a claim. I am currently struggling with repayments due to a split with my wife, does this matter?

    Hi and welcome

I take it then it was Picture that set this up for you?

What you do is contact the Financial Compensation Scheme (FSCS) and arrange the claim with these, they will either ask that you complete the forms they send online or through the post.

When you complete the forms, only send copies of documents not the originals you have.

Good luck with this and please keep everyone posted on this thread and ask for any further help if required.
