    Well inspired and encouraged by you lot, I've just phoned Deloittes. They have requested some information from Picture and once that is received my claim will be passed over to the claims handlers.

    Does anyone know what this means? She couldn't give me any idea of timescale, nor whether things were looking positive but I think a lot of you have mentioned this process in your posts.

    Is it worth me phoning Picture and seeing where they are too?

    Well its been almost a year since my payout now, so going from what I can recall is, this is the actual information they require so they can work out the calculations, as soon as this is done they move this back to the fscs for completion and then for your payout.
    I would give them a ring next week in hope they have received the info from Picture and hopefully they will confirm its moving towards the final stages.

    Hi. it's as di says, they are gathering the info from PICTURE.From my recollection the same happened to us and I did ring Picture, but to be honest didn't get anywhere with them. I would just keep pressing FSCS or deloitte.

    Thanks. I don't suppose it's in Picture's interest to do anything to speed up the process so will take busbyh's advice and stick to bugging Deloittes for the time being. I think a call once a week should be about right. Don't want to tick them off, but just want to let them know that I'm going to keep on top of this.

    For all you newer people waiting, if you phone Deloittes and get the answer phone, press 0. When you are put through to the operator tell them what you want to talk about and ask them to put you through to someone else in that section. When you get through find out who is dealing with your claim and their telephone number. I went back to the operator several times before I was put through to someone who could help. Mind you two people who were dealing with our claim left Deloittes and set us back at least 2 weeks.

    Still I am hoping for this Wednesday!:)

    Thanks Purrycat. The letter I was sent from Deloittes said who was looking after my claim and her direct line. Maybe that's something new then?
