Hi folks,

Skeeter thats fab you have now got your cheque. :-)

I found my last letter and its a month now since its been with Delloites........and I havent phoned, think Im scared to phone and face it!!!!!!!!!!!

Skeeter a weird qs how long is the chq taking to clear? Is it just a normal 3 days or longer? Lx

I originally sent my initial enquiry questionnaire away to FSCS over a week ago and as i had not heard anything i gave them a call. the guy on the phone said it had not been logged onto the system yet but generally this could take up to 2 weeks to show on their systems.

I am curious what will happen next, will I be given a further questionnaire to complete or will my case be reviewed and hopefully passed to Deloitte to review.

Also a general timeline of somones claim would be really good.

Hi there

I think they will may eventually request for more information, but this will more than likely be when they send your claim on to deloittes.

What I would do is contact them over the next week or so for updates.

If the company your making a claim from are already listed in default then it should not take as long as someone making a claim where the company have still gone out of business but not registed in default with the FSCS.

Good luck with this, please keep us posted and remember to ring them for updates on your claim.;)

My claim is against picture financial and reading some of the comments on here it appears that things are going really well regarding winning claims. I dont think i have read of any rejections by FSCS yet.

You will be okay then, with Picture they were declared in default by the FSCS I think about last August 2009, so its just a matter of them getting on with your claim.
I am aware that all have been paid out......no rejections.;)
