I remember how I felt when I was told the same thing. Just wanted the postman to hurry up everyday! lol I was asked lots of questions when paying my cheque in the bank though. I was asked to go into a room and speak to the bank manager! who asked me about opening new bank accounts etc and where I got the money from! I don't think is fair. It isn't any of their business? it could have been a loan for all they knew. I just said it was compensation. Happy spending :beer:

Want to celebrate as I have completed my paperwork from fscs against picture!
To celebrate I am going to skip all the way to the post office, don't know why I am so pleased with myself.
Step 1 complete: rang fscs and got relevant paperwork to fill in
Step 2: complete: filled in form and ready to post
Step 3: wait and wait and wait

Hi all just spoken with the fscs who have said that my claim is now with the assessors :T so I can only assume that this is good news.
Would I be right in thinking that it normally takes a fortnight to hear anything from them now regarding any money I may get? :eek: I really hope this could be the beginning of the end of all this.

:j:jI'd say that is really good news bodkins ,and yes it should only take a couple of weeks now:T:T hopefully sooner:eek:
