Hi di,
Hope you and yours are well. I have just got home , still celebrating my 60th. It has been going on for a week now. Been really good and some more friends treated me to a nice meal tonight. Don't really want it to end:):)
It would make my day if Bodkins received some good news, I know only too well what he is going through, and it is not a nice place to be.dialysis,mammamia,honey.beaniebabe,saltyfish,funky,Gumbi,Lian,doogle,oldwulf,pinknico,Halpin,alyson,Barloo,jadone,demir,netabc,chickpee,dannyboy,tomgaskel,Lozza001,sandzb,di,marshallka,pengi,lynnie,busbyh,moggy,Kim66,honestbob,tobione,itdonk,arrongborne,thunders,newtonchang,mbones,showergirl, coffeetower,hayston,sappy,dolallytap,AuntieDeedee0 -

Hi,
It just seems to be never ending.
This has got to be one of the worst months ever, funds completely run out.
I called deloittes on tuesday for an update. I was told that mine was being worked on that day.
Would anyone have any idea as to how long things would be now?
My case was a priority one but I must say I don't think this has made any difference to the speed it has been dealt with going by the other dates and timescales on here.
Lets just hope after all these months, phonecalls and lots of worry its worth it.
Good luck to everyone this week.0 -
Hi and I hope you don't mind me jumping on the end of this thread
I tried to look at the sticky re Picture on page 1, but it seems to have expired/been removed?
I was (mis)sold PPI by Picture to the tune of just over £11,000. Not sure whether that's a lot or not compared to everyone else, but it is to me. I had no idea what PPI was, or even that I could refuse it, but just wondered whether I have a case? Not that I expect you all to answer that, just my mutterings.
Did I understand correctly that no-one has lost a claim for reclaiming PPI from Picture? Just want to get things clear before I decide what to do. I think I should go straight to the FSCS - is this the correct thing to do or must I approach someone else to start this all off?
Thanks for reading.YOUR = belonging to you (your coat); YOU'RE = you are (I hope you're ok)
really....it's not hard to understand :T0 -

Hi Suzysu,
This is the best thread for PICTURE claims. You need to contact FSCS and request a claim form for missold PPI against PICTURE. When you complete it send as much info as you can and be sure to make copies, in case any get lost. I would contact them ASAP and get things moving . Send "Special Delivery", it costs a fiver but is well worth it, as it guarantees next day delivery and also enables you to "track and trace".
As far as we are aware, nobody has lost a claim on the PPI against Picture, so I don't see any reason when anybody else should. It appears FSCS have made an overall decision it was missold and it's just a matter of working out the correct amount owing.
£11000 is a lot of money, our was for £8872 and we got back the PPI plus payments we made towards it. It amounted to a payout of £9600, or thereabouts.
Good luck and keep us posted and if you need any more help, just shout;)dialysis,mammamia,honey.beaniebabe,saltyfish,funky,Gumbi,Lian,doogle,oldwulf,pinknico,Halpin,alyson,Barloo,jadone,demir,netabc,chickpee,dannyboy,tomgaskel,Lozza001,sandzb,di,marshallka,pengi,lynnie,busbyh,moggy,Kim66,honestbob,tobione,itdonk,arrongborne,thunders,newtonchang,mbones,showergirl, coffeetower,hayston,sappy,dolallytap,AuntieDeedee0 -

Hi there
Do feel free to post on here.......:D, you do seem to have a good case, and although I have not reclaimed against Picture (but another loan company), as you will see many have but through the FSCS, so you contact the FSCS for a claim form and as Picture are already in default, this should more or less be straight forward for you now.....hopefully.
You contact the FSCS here:
http://www.fscs.org.uk/contact-us/
I take it the broker was that of Picture who sold you the loan?
Keep posting on here, you will receive plenty of help and advice from others, so welcome.
You will do okay XXThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
