The thing that worries me most is they have the stuff from our first loan and now must wait for the second which could be a matter of weeks or a couple of months, this is turn will have a knock on effect with all the calculations they have made.
I have this dreadful feeling that mine will run and run. On an aside when I blew my stack at picture yesterday and told them they are just being pathetic not sending the stuff for the second loan, I informed them I would be applying for an IVA which would have a knock on effect regarding their money (I actually told him to go screw himself if he thinks they are getting another penny from me, the wife was not best impressed and in hindsight it wasn't one of my brighter moves and I don't feel any better for it) but the cheeky !!!!!! only went and advised me to contact a debt advice company that picture recommend and work directly with them so as to ensure they get the best arrangement.
I hope your info is sent in the next batch, (it should be) and then Deloittes will work out the calculations then, rather then do one lot then have to start again.

What a cheek Picture have telling you that they will put you in touch with a debt advice co. as if you would take any advice from someone recomended by them

    Good luck

    hi guys,
i am another picture casualty (dumb enough to take out a loan in 2006). I have been following your amazing journey with these rip-off merchants and have finally taken the steps to claim back the miss selling of the ppi. I rang picture on Monday and it was confirmed i (like everyone else) only have 5 yrs insurance but paying for it 15 yrs, I explained i was not told this to which there reply was it was in the paperwork you signed. I then sent martin's first letter and got a reply Wednesday saying :
    ;thankyou for your letter, please pass on your complaint to FSCS who will investigate;
they also sent back my original letter.
Is there anyone who can advise me is this now the norm?
My technology skills are not to good so sorry for any mistakes.
All of your previous messages have given me the kick i need to try and get my money back........................thankyou

    Hi there and welcome..;)
Yes, this is the norm. You now need to contact FSCS and request claim form. Get this completed and back to them ASAP
    Good luck

Sounds like a typical reaction from Picture. How dare they, they have caused enough heartache:mad::mad::mad: I do so understand you being so annoyed(to put it politely):D. But it does you good to let off steam every now and again.
There were others on here who had two loans with them, and they did ok. Hopefully it won't be too long

  • Spoke to Deloittes today. They are expecting our details to come from Picture in the next batch, but were unable to say when this is supposed to be.

Looking through the posts it looks like they send them every few weeks, so hope its due soon though.

Hi all, can anyone tell me if there have only been payments (Picture / FSCS) to the priority cases. We may be a prioroty case ourselves soon but I'm not sure if it's worth chasing it up as our claim number is around 50 anyway?

    Thanks & keep the faith!

    Hi tobione
No, the payments have not all been priority cases. Ours wasn't. I don't think many of them were. There were a few early on, dialysis was one, she was paid out around November time , I think. Our claim number was around 270 and was completed December.
50 is a low number. Has there been any delay in them receiving info from 3rd parties or the like.
I think the majority of the early claimers have now been paid out.
If you read through the posts at the beginning of the thread, there is loads of info on them.
Read from about page fifty, that is when the first payout was made to mammamia

I would chase it up regardless
