I've just rang the FSCS and mine is now back from Deloittes and with the QA team, so hopefully I might get somthing next week. The guy did say it had probably gone to them due to the No claims issue.

Bodkins, just don't know what to say to you. I can feel your stress and annoyance so much.
    Just hope it's soon.

  • Just spoken with both picture and the fscs, picture said they sent everything that had been requested and as the fscs as a regulatory body only asked for the details of 1 account that's what they supplied. Anna at the fscs admitted they had made a mistake and have put mine to the top of the pile as it was their fault but has said this will take a few weeks to sort out at least because picture will send this lot over in the next batch.
I'm not blaming either party as mistakes do happen but I fail to believe picture can be so bloody petty and not ask if they wanted the details of the other loan

Well done bob hope this helps and you spend it or invest it wisely and treat yourself if you can and wish.
Going to ring do littles today as picture advised to make sure they have everything they need I really hope I hear soon as I'm going bloody stir crazy in the evening as I'm not working now so all I do is mull things over all night if we get this money I can relax and 1 job should be more than enough but it is a shock when the last 2 years I have worked 7 days a week.
Just out of interest Bob was it about what you expected or more (hopefully not less)? I don't want to know the exact amount by the way

Hi Bodkins, i paid £5,200 ppi and i hoped the interest etc would make it up to about 6 thousand. i had settled the loan after re-mortgaging and recieved around £500 rebate. In the end i got £5490 which i was pretty happy with all things considered.
oh and by the way spending £3000 on a new bathroom (which is really needed ) paid a grand off the mortgage and puttin the rest into a bit of stock for a sideline business
    Hope they sort yours soon.
    Regards
    BOB

Spoke to Deloittes today and they have received all the info required from our Mortgage company (regarding interest rates etc etc). They said it can now be passed back to the FSCS for an investigator to look at and we should hear back from the FSCS in around 3 weeks time. Fingers crossed!!! xxx

Our contact with Deloittes is Anna too, seems like shes a busy lady!

We did the same as you, took out a loan with Picture, then about a year later increased our loan, which meant we paid PPI on both loans.

The last time we spoke to Anna (which was Monday this week) she said she was just waiting on the info from Picture then she can pass it back to the FSCS. She said if we hadn't heard from anything within the next 4 weeks to give FSCS a call.

I so hope they get the info for both loans, or I'll be in the same postition as you are just now.:(

Did they give any idea when the net batch was expeted to be received from Picture?

The info was received on Monday some time so I would check back with her and see if both loans were sent over, I suspect they wont have been whoever went through the list likely supplied what was asked but didnt check for associated accounts.

Also could someone advise on how I work out how much to expect, my ppi was £19,960 taken in Dec 05. I have received NCD of £4,800.
