Hi Sue, if your loan was actually arranged through Norton finance then it would be Norton Finance you would make the complaint to and not Picture. If they come back and confirm that Norton sold the policy then you will have to complain to them I am afraid.

Hi there you will need to put it into writing, and get the decision back from them in writing.

You have to go along with the usual PPI reclaiming process if you think you were missold and give them the same reasons that you originally put on your complaint against Picture in case they check with this.

As Marshallka says, you will need to follow the procedures of reclaiming on the PPI, link posted above, and with them telling you it was not mis sold on the phone, they had not even looked into or investigated it.
They have 8 weeks in total to do this and if they still say it was not mis sold then you can ask the Financial ombudsman service (FOS) to investigate this for you.
But you will need this in written correspondence to enclose copies to the FOS, so they know then Norton have already investigated and not upholding in your favour.;)

What year did you take out the loan?

  • New update alert spoke to my new claim advisor yesterday at do littles and I'm afraid it's a bit more of a delay. She said that all claims have been put on hold while this business about the ncb is resolved,I did explain that this did not affect me but it would appear I have at least been lumped in this bracket when I asked how long this could delay the claim for I know this seems to be the stock answer but she said up to 6 months. All I can say is it better not be bloody 6 more months my contract at work runs out on the 6th march and I haven't heard if they are going to re-new it yet. Sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings but I hope this will help all the others still waiting
