I think the issue re the NCB is that if it had been paid prior to settlement, the NCB was deducted from the settlement figure. If you were fortunate enough to receive ncb AFTER settlement, it was yours to keep. There are several posters on here - barloo and netabc who have queried why it was deducted.
Ir appears FSCS have had to review how they assess payments regarding NCB. But what conclusion they have come to, I am not sure.

It was a very unfair way in which they did assess re NCB.

I'm sure you will hayston. Just remind me is your claim with Picture and if so have you been paid any NCB, or are you due any

I would ask what the new procedures are.

Just reaad your previous post again and see you are with loanmakers. Hasn't somebody just been paid from them.

just rang deloittes no news on mine regards picture there is a big issue with ncb payments told them that i would not be entitled as have had arrears but they said all picture claims are now on hold till fscs have a bored meeting there is something diffrent every week

I know there are posters who have lost out on several thousands pounds per claim because of this NCB..

I think one was in the region of £5000

As this will not affect your claim, maybe you will hear soon. I hope so.

Hello folks Bobs back ! sorry i have not been posting i get a bit busy with other things, i have been checking up on you lot now and again though, after an age of nailbiting i have been told today that deloittes sent my case back to the fscs on friday, so i could be nearing the end, i just hope the fscs don,t bounce it back to deloittes for clarifiction etc i know this has happened before, hope i can still get my new bathroom in the sales but not confident !!
i am told that it generally takes about 2 weeks from now if all goes well so keep em crossed for me guys and i will keep you posted.

Yes my claim is re loanmakers.
I have not been paid any NCB. It would be next year before any money would be paid back (5 years). I was 2 weeks late with one of my payments so firstplus have told me that they cannot say if I would receive anything or not and would not make any decisions until the 5 year point.
