Even further update and hopefully someone on here can shed some light on this one the fscs have received the required info but as the loan is still running needs to go to somebody else for guidance and advice! Whatever this means
has this happened to anyone else or does anybody know what this means, all they could tell me (very reluctantly) was it needs some other sort of calculation help please I got a headache

Hi Bodkins

I'm sure someone will post up who was in the same position as you here where the loan is still running, I was not in this actual position but many were on here.
Hopefully they will be along soon to post up some info for you.;)

hi bodkins, I really can feel the stress and anger you are going through.

Firstly, Picture send the required info to Deloitte, not the FSCS. deloitte then do all the calcs and it is not until this is done that it is sent to the FSCS. this is probably why FSCS are saying they havn't rcd it.

I think it is deloitte you should contact.

The fscs is the last port of call,once the figures are worked out and then they send you the cheque.

Ring Deloitte on Monday and good luck.

Our loan was not still running, but the figures had to be re-checked as they said something wasn't adding up. I must admit they did panic me as Deloittes said to me "It doesn't look good" that was their exact words, and everything turned out ok. i'm glad to say.

When I called them back and asked what was the problem, he then said they just had to ensure that it all added up and told me not to worry.

I would say if it is now with FSCS you shouldn't be waiting to long now.

I know it is so easy to say, but please try not to worry

Bodkins, I would think they are just rechecking to be sure everything is correct, apparentley this does happen sometimes where FSCS figures don't tally with what picture have given.
I would say it is in your best interest that they are rechecking.

:eek: Hi Bodkins ive had the excact same thing for the last 3 months first theyve got the info they need then they havent then they have then they havent i dont think the left hand knows what the right hand is doing the call i had apparently ive paid my loan off when i said i hadnt it started allover again so i know what its like hopefully we will get sorted shortly fingers crossed

spoke to fscs today they received my file back from deloittes on friday so say its waiting to be signed off bya manager and i will here within 2 weeks what does this mean i do hope i win its dragged on so long would be gutted if they did not pay
