Companies in Default/FSCS Claims - Picture, London Scottish, Twopart

Hi,

I have been told today that my claim is now on hold as deloitte are awaiting info from the lender re no claim bonus.

Has anyone been told the same?
Do you think it still sounds hopeful?

Hi hayston they are just checking out what you have been paid re NCB, if any. This is normal procedure.

I would say it does sound hopeful, as I don't think they would go to the bother if you did not have a valid claim.

Deloitte phoned my husband today to say that we need to sign something before Northern Rock will give them the info they require.
They emailed my husband the form today and I will send it back tomorrow.
Deloitte told my husband that they can't specify timescales but said that once they have all the info they require it is a matter of weeks not months.
Just to make you feel better, our claim has been going on for two years now! that is how long it has taken to get to this point. Was with the FO then FSCS then Deloitte.
We received a phone call the other night too from a liquidator who has been going through all TWOPART loans and they phoned to tell us that we had a case to claim for PPI my husband explained that we already have one open and he said they are going through the paperwork and it seems 90 percent of people who took a loan are able to make a claim as there were many many errors re PPI!

:rolleyes: yeh they dont seem to be turning many down our has been going since march 2008 so its also taken this long to get to the same point but hopefully its all gonna get sorted soon we can all just wait and see

Have just heard from deloites they have received information from picture and that is now under the assesment process anyone now what this entails and how long this process is sue

It won't take long now then, give the FSCS a ring next week for an update and they will possibly and hopefully say they have received the info back from Deloittes and are sorting out the payment.

Further update just spoken with the fscs who say they not received any of the info requested, just rang bloody picture who assure me that this was signed off and sent to them on the 12th does anybody know if picture use carrier pigeons or carrier snails. Either that or do I get the distinct impression that somebody is lying to me?
