They did that with us, had the info and there was a problem with it and had to request it again. I did panic, but it all worked out fine

    Hi hun
Yeah I remember you saying something on this before.
    Strange one this.......:confused::confused:.

Do you remember when mine was also messed up as well?
Seems like they are getting all confused again.

I would give deloitte another call tomorrow or by the end of the week to ask them "what is is they actually require", so you can then chase this up yourself to get the details for them.
We went through all this and us thinking it was back with the FSCS, but only then to have been told "no it was still with deloittes".
From there we chased the lenders up ourselves for the info.
Deloitte may actually email with the details.;) XX

Hi there, first you need to contact the FSCS and request a claim form.
The number is on their website.
Give as many details and send copies of as much info as you can. There is no reason why you will not win on this, as we all have.

Send all the info recorded delivery. I sent mine special at a cost of £5. It was well worth it, as it is guaranteed next day and you can track it at Royal mail.
Just keep posting for any help you may need.

Our reasons were, 5yr cover,, but paid for 25 years!! only covered first on policy. pre existing medical conditions,to name but a few.

Just go for it and contact FSCS ASAP.

Good luck and keep up all posted, you will get lots of help on here

EDIT. WE HAVE JUST RECEIVED £9800 BACK! OUR PPI WAS FOR £8732.

    Thanks for the help

What additional information should I be looking to send outwith my initial concerns about the PPI.

    Thanks

Firstly, you just need them to send out the claim form, then when you send in the completed form enclose copies of (don't send the originals) any correspondence, ie letters, agreements.
Put in as much detail as you can regarding your reasons for missell, although the SINGLE PREMIUM POLICY in itself is a good enough missell as they have now been banned by the FSA.

Single premium policies are added to the loan up front, therefore you will pay interest on it for the term of the loan, even if you chose to cancel the policy. They would cancel the policy, but you would still be paying for the PPi, if you get what I mean. It would never be taken off the loan as it has just been added together and is classed as one loan.. This is where they have pulled a fast one on us all.
We were all naive when we signed up for this with PICTURE, you are not alone on this one!!!!
