    Hi there

Yes it was just a normal statement they required, that shows the interest etc.
So if you do have an update one it maybe worth you letting Deloitte know of this and they should be able to accept this.

Before all this we did wait a while, so in the end we suggested that we request for the statement to be sent directly to us.
As soon as we received the statement from the lender, we scanned it to the computer and attached it by email top Deloitte, so that week they assessed and sent it back to the FSCS to sort out for paying out after they checked it through.
If you have a fax machine you can send it that way.;)

Depending on any rebates when you settled, which you did not actually receive but it would have brought the settlement figure down then you should receive the remaining of the PPI, so much of the interest etc, and with what have been paid into the mortgage when it comes to the interest, it all adds up.;)

Thanks for this. We actually received an up to date mortgage statement yesterday so will phone Deloitte and see if this is what they require. I seem to think they are going to want confirmation that it was Northern Rock who paid the loan off? Not sure.

I have no idea about the settlement figures etc so don't even know how much to expect back. The loan was a huge amount though

    Thanks for your help x

    Your welcome.;)

I think it will be fine, see what Deloittes say but it should be okay.

They should send you a breakdown of calculations, and before you cash in your cheque and your not too sure on it, you can contact them, but if you want to (only if you want to), you can post it up on here and it will be checked for you, Marshallka, Busbyh and Pinknico are good at working these out, I'm sure they won't mind you sending them a private message (PM) to ask if they can check it out for you.

We will phone Deloitte now and see if the recent mortgage statement is enough. Hope so!

    Hi all,
Hope you have all had a good Christmas and New Year. Just got back from staying with relatives in a lovely village in Newton Abbot.

Now i'm afraid it's back to reality!
Came back to a freezing cold house, a flooded kitchen(washing machine decided to fill itself up). Still all sorted now.

Hope those waiting on PPi hear something really soon. Can't be much longer for them now.

Good luck to all for a good 2010
    xx

  • Hi all.

Happy New Year to you all. Not been around for a while as have been busy. Unfortunately my Uncle also died on Boxing Day, so have a funeral tomorrow, not a great way to start the year! Spoke to Solicitor this morning with ref to my complaint, and does not sound like i am going to get anywhere with them, but will keep trying. Hope you all have a great 2010.

    Hi Lynnie
Happy New Year to you as well.

Oh dear I am so sorry to hear your sad news, it was in fact 6 years since my Uncle died on New Years day, and about 9 years since my brother in law then aged 28 on Christmas day.
    Sending you all my love.

Wishing you luck with your complaint Lynnie, I dare say you deserve this luck, fingers crossed for you.
