Was wondering if anyone has had any success stories concerning TWOPART?
Our claim was passed to Deloitte almost a year ago now! We have had correspondance with Deloitte re info they require and promptly sent it back. They wanted to know how we repaid our loan (re mortgaged) and what our mortgage account number was so that they could contact our mortgage company? Don't really understand why they need to do this?
Anyway, I phoned them and they said they were just waiting for our mortgage company to get back to them.
Not sure what all this means really or how much longer this is like to take. Any ideas?
Thanks
Phoned Deloitte yesterday who said they are still waiting for the info from Northern Rock (who we re mortgaged with when paying the loan off). The lady said she had chased them up a few times but spoke to someone last week who she has dealt with before and said she should have the info in around a week. I asked how much longer this whole process is likely to take.
She said she can not give timescales but in her experience it is more likely to be weeks rather than months. She said once they get the info back it just gets passed to someone senior who then looks through all the info.
Could we still be rejected after all this hard work? it has taken two years!

Hi there
Just a suggestion, but when you have remortgaged, basically all they require is some sort of statement from the mortgage lender, while we were waiting for our TWOPART case to be sorted out for the quickest we asked our mortgage lender to sent the info/statement directly to us instead of Deloitte, it was quicker, and then we sent it on to Deloitte, you can even fax it to Deloitte, ask them for the faxing details.
Your lender should be able to do this for you.
As soon as Deloitte received this info, it was the same week it was sorted out.
Maybe worth you giving it a shot, good luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

What kind of statement? just an ordinary mortgage statement? because I keep all of these. Maybe they want actual confirmation of interest rates etc? We would phone Northern Rock directly but we aren't actually sure what information they need.
Wow yours was sorted out in the same week! hope ours is. Could really do with starting the new year off with some good news! How do they work out how much you get back, do you know?
I have heard of some people getting all the PPI back even when they paid the loan off early. Others just what they paid in etc. Was just wondering if it depends on the company?
Thanks0 -

Hi there
Yes it was just a normal statement they required, that shows the interest etc.
So if you do have an update one it maybe worth you letting Deloitte know of this and they should be able to accept this.
Before all this we did wait a while, so in the end we suggested that we request for the statement to be sent directly to us.
As soon as we received the statement from the lender, we scanned it to the computer and attached it by email top Deloitte, so that week they assessed and sent it back to the FSCS to sort out for paying out after they checked it through.
If you have a fax machine you can send it that way.;)
Depending on any rebates when you settled, which you did not actually receive but it would have brought the settlement figure down then you should receive the remaining of the PPI, so much of the interest etc, and with what have been paid into the mortgage when it comes to the interest, it all adds up.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0
