I will be watching the site very closely to see how this goes. There is no way this NCB business has been a assessed fairly.:mad:

  • Hi All,

I am currently going through the process of completing my FSCS complaints form. Due to a change in job and Christmas this hasn't been completed and I received the form at the begining of November. Is there a time limit for returning such forms?

Also I am struggling to find some paper work, does anyone know if you can request copies? I know there maybe a charge but it should be worth it.

Once the FSCS have form what has been the timescale involved, roughly?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Longword, hope your well.;)

Is yours in regards of Picture, Loanmakers or Twopart etc?

I am not too sure on the timescales but maybe its the same as the FOS, they will let you know if you ring them to make sure.;) The FOS is normally 6 months as from the final decision from the company, but in this case maybe its from the claim form, I'm sure they will let you know.

I did not have much to give in regards of my Twopart claim, as the company already dissolved when I tried requesting the SAR, however as Twopart were the broker I did manage to get some loan info from the actual lender nemo, which helped.

    Hope this helps.

Otherwise the FSCS when they pass on to Deloittes who assess the claims on the FSCS behalf, Deloittes will try to contact the lenders involved for details/paperwork.

I would though if you can contact the FSCS to let them know that your having difficulties paperwork wise and maybe in the meantime request a SAR from the lender if you cannot get hold of it any other way, they have 40 days to send you the SAR.

Hi Longword, I think there is a 6 month timescale to complete the fscs form, and ypu have already lost two months of the six. Personally , I would get this completed ASAP. You can forward any paperwork to them when you receive it. The most important thing is to make them aware you want to start a claim. I would definately start the ball rolling. I just wouldn't leave it any longer. They reckon it can take 6 months or more, from receipt of your claim, but the longer you leave it, obviously the longer it will take.

My claim was with Picture and I requested a copy of my ppi agreement, which I received within a couple of days. I would write and request a copy of the agreement from them. I was not charged for this.

Send in the completed claim form and explain you will forward the relevant paperwork when you receive the copies.

I'm sure it says somewhere on the FSCS info, that if it is not returned within 6 months they assume you do not wish to proceed with the claim!!!

    Hi,

My claim has been with fscs re the above since july.

I have been in regular contact with fscs.

Today I have been told that my claim is now finally back with fscs following deloittes completing their work with my claim. They have said a decision will be made tomorrow at a meeting re the outcome of my claim.

I wondered if those of you with experience of the procedures of fscs can tell me if they think things are going in my favour or not,

Any views would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    Hi there

    Its looking good :T:T
I think you would have heard by now if this was not accepted as such.
The FSCS go over the calculations of what Deloittes have done to make sure its correct before issuing you with a cheque.
Fingers crossed you will be recieving your cheque very soon.
