Anyone waiting to hear from fscs re loanmakers?
Hello and welcome.
Yes someone posted up on here not so long ago to say they received their payout through the FSCS in regards of Loanmakers, as they are now also in default.
If you have yours in with the FSCS give them a ring for an update.
I take it you have a claim in with the FSCS?
How long ago did you do this.
Once the FSCS has these they eventually pass the cases on to Deloittes to assess, before passing the cases back to the FSCS for payouts.
Deloittes may request for further information, if they do they will write to you.
As Loanmakers are already in default you should not be waiting all that long now.
Please keep us posted, and ask for help when required, your most welcome.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Hi Di
Hope you are well! I have also nearly broken up for the xmas hols too - lovin not having too worry about xmas this year!
I do regularly check in to see how people are getting on but it def seems to have slowed down again0 -
AfTernoon one and all I received this email from the Fscs yesterday and wondered what to make of it does this mean that they are supporting my claim and have now passed it on to those people who shall remain nameless or is this just the beginning of a long drawn out process (judging by some of you on here) if someone could advise me of what happens now I would be most grateful, should we be getting excited or have they not made there minds up? Do they write to p••••••e and say give them back the money you conned from them? I really have no idea at first I thought this could be positive but not so sure now.
You have submitted a compensation claim to the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (“FSCS”).! To try to minimise the delay in assessing your claim, FSCS has forwarded your claim on to Deloitte to begin processing your claim.
We can confirm that we have received your application form from FSCS for your claim against Picture Financial Services plc and the initial reviews have now been completed. We will therefore begin processing your claim shortly and will contact you should any further information be required.
Exactly the same as ours, bodkins. I would say you are on you way now. I know some have waited some time for their claim to be completed, but not everybody. Mine was with Deloitte's from August and was settled this month. Also mine was more complicated as they required info from neew lender. There are some posters on here where the whole process has only taken a couple of months.
Hold on in there and i'm sure you will hear soon. Can't see any reason why you won't win this just like the rest of us on here. We all have more or less the same reasons for the missell

Letter recd from FSCS today saying that they note I havent banked my cheque as yet and asking whether or not 1) I had recd it or 2) Whether I had a problem with it!!!!
I dont believe it. A classic example of poor communication between departments and each not knowing what the other is doing.
I therefore phoned today to speak to the person who wrote me the letter and after explaining that I had a complaint and that I have received 2 letters from a different FSCS department advising that they were looking into it. I then pressed him that if they needed to have the cheque back why hadnt the other person requested it. A long pause .......then after a lot of umming and arrring on his part he meekly told me to return the cheque as I had a dispute and that they will reissue the cheque once there reinvestigation into my complaint is complete.
I told him no thanks, I will hold onto it thanks until I know the outcome. I mean it took that long to get it from them in the first place, they got to rip it out of my clenched figures first.:-)
Still no news on the NCB front.
Hi barloo/netabc
Sorry to hear you are both still waiting re NCB. It appears there is a total lack of communication, AGAIN!!!!! hi,
My claim has been with fscs since june 09.
Deloittes have asked my to supply info twice now, although not the same each time. It was back with fscs in early nov but it was passed back to deloittes for some more work. At the end of last week Deloittes said they were waiting for info back from my loan supplier(f/plus).
It now seems to be back with deloittes and hopefully not too long before it is passed back to fscs.
I hope after all this there is some sort of payout.
Thanks for your help.

Your welcome hayston.;)
It certainly looks like its all moving forward for you then.
What we done on here was contact the FSCS for updates, by via email and/or telephone at least once a week lol.
Hope you hear some good news soon of a payout, fingers crossed. XXThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0
