  • Yes it was. I can't remember the figures involved but both times we were consolidating. We had moved house several times, and both lost our jobs. So when we finally got on our feet again we were struggling. So we went back to Picture who said we could take out a new loan and from that we settled the original loan.

You need to get in touch with the FSCS and tell them there was more than one loan with Picture and you want to claim on both, dont worry about not having the details Picture should have all the information and either the FSCS can ask them for it or you could ring and find out the account number. But ring the FSCS today and get the ball rolling.

Thanks Pengi and thanks to Marshallka too who has kindly worked the figures out for me. Unfortunately it does seem that we have been underpaid so I will be writing back to the FSCS to ask them to look at it further.

Never mind I am still happy to have a valid claim!
