Sorry moggy for what you are going through. Its terrible that they even send these cheques out ordinary post let alone being 2nd class. Surely they should be recorded or registered.

Hi Chickpee I thought "the amount of interest already charged you" was the PPI interest part of each monthly payment times however many monthly payments. But not sure.

    Thanks Busbyh.

I rang the FSCS but none the wiser so I will write to them.

Can anyone tell me about the interest they pay back. It says that "this is the amount of interest your lender has already charged you to date on the amount of the premium" so does this mean that that it doesn't include the premium itself?

I just need to get things straight in my own mind before I take things further.

yes that's what it said on ours, what is it you actually mean by the pemium. We get the PPI amopunt and the interest we have paid to date

    PPI amount £8872

On other peoples that put their figures up here I thought it was the actual repayments made against the PPI to date. I thought they just called it interest paid to date or something else...

Going to look back at some now... well in a min cause my darling is just coming home. ;)

They have refunded you the whole premium and as so far your monthly payment was only paying interest on the loan and PPI they have refunded the PPI premiums as interest. (once again thats an I think!)
