Right okay me and hubby been talking and going back on all deloittes emails, also sent copies to his union as well.

C&G again confirmed that the details were sent to Deloittes on the 6 October, that is coming up a month ago, then we received an email from deloittes to confirm that they received "all the details from everyone". And that they sent back to the FSCS to be reviewed.

Then suddenly when we made contact to the FSCS, they stated it was still with Deloittes.....we then re-emailed deloittes where then then confirm they are still waiting for the details???

Now in my opinion as C&G have also clarified twice that they sent the details, and with deloittes also previously said they received all details, does it make you think though that they did actually receive them but really lost them?

    I think so.....
The union have also been preparing a letter to deloittes about this.

Just to let you know that my cheque from fscs arrived today, the postman has just been. It's dated 29th October and the postmark on the envelope is also 29th October, 50p postage for an A4 envelope so 1st class post. I live in Cheshire.

I know my claim is not the same as most peoples on here but just to say a word of thanks to everyone for all of the postings and discussions and information which I have been reading on a daily basis for several weeks now. I really wish you all the very best of luck with your claims.

One final thing, I've just rung fscs again to enquire why some people received their cheques by Special Delivery last week and the chap I spoke to said that some people had phoned in to request Special Delivery and others had asked for BACS payments which he said they have been doing where requested. I asked him how they would organise a BACS transfer and he said that if people could either fax a copy of a recent bank statement (or scan it and email it to them) that would be suficient for them to arrange a BACS transfer. I would definately have asked for special delivery if I'd have known.

Good luck to everyone still waiting, I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you all.

    Absolutely fantastic :T:T:T:T:T:T:T
    Congratulations !

Well done to you strawberylane and thanks for the usrful info regarding delivery.
Personally I would opt for SPECIAL as if they pay by BACS that may be taken as acceptance of the amount!! as a bacs payment doesnt need to clear!!

What about the nemo loan details? Is it something to do with that one?

    Demir,

Is the cheque actually payable to just yourself or is it both names. If the latter, then perhaps it might be prudent to seek specialist advice as he may as unbelievable as it sounds have a legal right to his share. (the law is a complete !!! somethimes!!!!)

Cant hurt ,can it ? Just so you know 100% where you stand should your ex decide to get legal.
    Forewarned is forearmed.

Some reputable Sols do not charge for the initial consultation as well, so you may even get your advice for free.
    Thanks barloo,

I just had to get rid of my ex before I could reply. The cheque is in just my name, but the letter does state that he is named on the policy. I am happy to give him half if he will let me contact the csa (which he won't - he wants a private agreement) or if he will set up a regulare standing order for my son and soon to arrive second son. I think like the NCB cheque because it is to do with the home that he is current keeping up mortgage payments on that the least I can do is half the cheque.
I think he has had some legal advice (he was asking today how I got my appointment with the citizens advice people on the same day!!) and he keeps refusing to stop mortgage payments or let me pay half.
