So you dealt with the FOS first and then cos Picture stopped trading and so, the FOS moved this on to the FSCS for you?

I bet the FOS would have upheld as well........so all that waiting and now more waiting.......:eek:

yeh its been going around 2yrs i think alltogether thats not deffo time but there abouts so wats a few more weeks :rolleyes::rolleyes:

April 09 - wanted to get the remortgage sorted before I began a complaint against picture incase they became awkward and messed things up for us! We started enquiring about a remortgage in August 08 and Picture were really difficult about things. :mad:Silly I know but we felt really vulnerable then.
So we remortgaged in Jan 09 - wrote to picture to complain against the mis sell and heard the usual nothin.:mad:
So waited the 6 weeks and contacted the FSCS who said they would send a form but warned us nothing woukld be done as not in default yet! Got the form filled in and set back and hey presto here we are along with the rest of you guys!!!:D:D:D

Finally! I have some news!

After 2 and a half years since my initial complaint to picture I have finally been told...

CHEQUE IS IN THE POST!!!!!

I can't believe it!! Finally!!

(of course there would be postal stikes going on but even that can't dampen my spirits!!!)

I have no details of what we've been awarded but thank GOD it's finally drawing to a close! A considering I was told to call back in a month last week it's quite a turn-around!

I was ref 211... so hopefully that means others around this number will hear something soon too! I will post up the breakdown as soon as it arrives!

I bet that will be the case, as I assume they would want to keep copies of the info for up to approx 6 years....:D, bet they not got any room left for any more lmao......:o:rotfl::rotfl:

i dont remember but i might have i will have to dig everything out i suppose god im getting more forgetfull must be getting old:rotfl::rotfl:i suppose i would have at the time but origanally a company was dealing with it but they have folded since so its down to me but one good thing i wont have to apy there commision
