I was hoping that mine was in the same pile as Pinknico's!

I've just got this gut feeling that something's wrong. I don't know whether it was the tone of the person I spoke to (he was very nice by the way) but I can't seem to get any positive feedback so it is still a waiting game.

I just wish I had given more details on our form as it is obviously important but I was under the impression that the FSCS would agree with the FOS's decision.

Thanks for trying to make me feel better!

    Hi there

    I'm sure all is okay.;)

And depending who's dealing with it as well, someone had posted something similar last week to be told they were still dealing with the case, then suddenly the cheque arrived - I think that day.

I assumed they have a great number of staff also within the FSCS, and maybe some are not as quick as others, maybe like the FOS they have taken on new staff due to their workload of many companies that have gone into default recently as well, where they are not as quick as the staff that have been there longer.

Like yourself I also sent them info from the FOS, with a comment that the FOS made that we should pursue the broker with the reasons etc, as the FOS resolved the 2nd loan with the lender but I had to go to the broker for the first loan who are Twopart ltd with the FSCS.

I think all will be okay.;)

My feeling as well is, if there is something wrong, they should get in touch, or at least send the letter out.
If rejected, I think that would be in earlier stages as well.;)

If mine is rejected, I will appeal, I wonder how Honey's friend is getting on?

I have not heard of any other rejections.

    Thanks Di.

The stress is just crippling me now and I need to know the decision.

I know it can't be easy for you either especially if you have mortgage arrears.

I hope you hear something soon too. xx

    Your welcome hun.:A

Yes it does play on my mind, we have also told the FSCS we are desperate to get the mortgage arrears out of the way, it probably won't cover it all but it will help, and we all have geniune reasons.

I leave the ringing to my hubby, my BP been sky high, so I am hoping he will be home in time from his course to ring them, I have though again sent them another email to go on with.;)

Wishing you luck hun and hope you receive better news tomorrow, I have a good feeling all will be okay for us. XXX

When I mentioned higher reference numbers and my concern that my claim had somehow been missed they went to the manager and asked and she said she would get on it straight away.

i'm certain if they needed more details they would definately request them. We have just been told this by Deloitte. He said if they require any other info that will help the claim, not to worry, as they will request it.
