Hi Alyson, again so happy for you, Congratulations hunni :T:T:beer:.

Deloittes passed ours back not last Friday the Friday before, last Monday the FSCS said they were making a decision for asap, however ours is not with Picture but with TWOPART who went into default 8 Sept, so after PICTURE, they have confirmed that they are dealing with it as a priority case, also ref number one as well, but due to our circumstances that are currently ongoing, so hoping it will be this week as well.

The post is a worry, here we are receiving a fortnight's ago post, and we have so many other similar addresses surrounding us, the street down the road to us, have our post most of the time and the other way round, and they are away for most of the year.

So with a bit of luck, if we are successful we are hoping it will be in the same batch, fingers crossed for us all.

Thanks again - I still can't believe it!!

Have you called FSCS today?? If they received your claim back from deloittes over a week ago I would think they are ready to send it back to you anytime now!! I don't really understand what the delay would be - unless they are simply working out figures for the compensation. Is yours a straightforward claim i.e do you still have the loan or was it paid off maybe they are having trouble working out the interest etc. I know ours was pretty straightforward in that we still have the loan with PICTURE (unfortunately!!!).

If you haven't already done so I would give them a ring and just be blunt with them - I know the waiting is a killer!! Chin up it will all come good in the end I am sure!!

Fingers crossed its on its way to you xxxxxxxxxxx ;);););)

Cheers hunni. And very happy for you.:T:T

Hubby will give them a call he said, he is far better and blunt on the phone, where I am a great softie lol :o:D,maybe that is why we are still waiting lol.

This is about the first loan, as we had a loan advance then remortgaged, the 2nd loan advance was resolved through the FOS, so just waiting for the FSCS to sort out the first one.
So yeah maybe a little complicated, and yet not a lot to come back really, if successful, but it will help towards the mortgage arrears.;):AXXx

It doesn't matter how much it is - its yours thats all that matters so why should someone else have it!!!!

Maybe they are just trying to sort out the figures then - on the bright side if it is back with the FSCS you are on the last leg of the journey!!!

Fingers crossed it arrives this week so that you can put it behind you!!!

with reference to interest rate, take a look at fp complaints website, it seems fp do this and the members of this site are doing battle over this. there is a petition on the downing street website about the interest rates of secured debt companys and it has over 500 sig, so the government has to respond to this. you all on here may find it useful, if you have ongoing loans and may take a few ideas from fp site to complain about your interest rates. just a thought for you all. and it will help everyone to stop this unfair rate rise

    That's great amersall:A
