I spoke to a nice man at the FSCS but I still have no news. My case is still under management review.

I'm getting really worried now as he reiterated that the FSCS don't necessarily take the same viewpoint as the FOS.

The thing is on our application form to the FSCS we basically said refer to the FOS decision and sent copies of all this information. When we received the form I rang to ask the FSCS if this would be ok rather than fill out all the info again and I was told yes.

I am thinking now that as the FSCS have had our file back from Deloitte for over a month now there must be a problem with it.

Not neccessarily, it could be like ours, some of the figures did'nt tally

Yes we still have our loan so from that point of view I would have thought it would be a fairly straight forward case.

CHickpee, haven't they had pinknico's for quite some time, and her cheque has been sent, so it doesn't mean there is a problem , just your case worker is a bit slower

I was hoping that mine was in the same pile as Pinknico's!

I've just got this gut feeling that something's wrong. I don't know whether it was the tone of the person I spoke to (he was very nice by the way) but I can't seem to get any positive feedback so it is still a waiting game.

I just wish I had given more details on our form as it is obviously important but I was under the impression that the FSCS would agree with the FOS's decision.
