God i hope so girls!!!! i read that 600 cases were sent to the FSCS re Picture..thats an awful lot of people who have been misled!
And going bust was just lame?!?! im very confused over this NCB business though... and what happens to my monthly payments if successful! logic would say they would stay the same...but i gave up on that long ago!?!
Make that 1000 Doogle, thats apparantley how many there are now. It appears the FSCS are saying , if you choose you can still keep the Policy going, therefore if you have received or due for NCB you will receive it as this is paid direct to the INSURED person.
It is up to the individual if they choose to cancel Ins or not. FSCS have also advised the Insurance co how much the rebate should be
FSCS are saying they have upheld the cases for bad advice. Have not said missold Insurance. We have dabated this, what the difference is etc

FSCS rung back their view is it is up to us wether it is paid to picture or to us. Going to try London and general insurance now.

Well i cancelled ours after about 8 months i think...because i realised we had been conned!! we did fall behind too so the policy is worthless to me anyway?!
Im assuming if i am successful i would get back the orginal premium plus any contributions i had made until Picture were declared in default?! right or wrong...im even more confused now!?
obviously only 90% after the first 2K ..
I would like to think everyone has been given bad advice...who in their right mind would take a policy if they knew all the pitfalls?!!0 -
Well I am totally baffled basically we will not get the rebate back it will go on the loan, he went through loads of figures with me and said picture highly recommend that you pay all the money recived from the fscs back to them, oh right, I am going to do that then not:mad::mad::mad: but the premiums we have paid have been refunded in the compo. Have to write to Picture to cancell PPI then rebate will be taken off loan. didnt really understand but he waffled and baffled me. 0

I am following your posts, back on forth here and posting on other threads, also living on the phone today as well, cos of some issues with my parents.
I was told by FSCS they will make a decision on mine soon, just a matter of waiting now, and fingers crossed for everyone else still waiting as well.:beer:The one and only "Dizzy Di"
