What you need dialysis is the FSCS to get in touch with Picture on your behalf and tell them whats what!

Well i cancelled ours after about 8 months i think...because i realised we had been conned!! we did fall behind too so the policy is worthless to me anyway?!

Im assuming if i am successful i would get back the orginal premium plus any contributions i had made until Picture were declared in default?! right or wrong...im even more confused now!? :( obviously only 90% after the first 2K ..

I would like to think everyone has been given bad advice...who in their right mind would take a policy if they knew all the pitfalls?!!

I am expecting the full PPI amount, the 32 payments made on it plus interest, also deloittes have said we will get back the PPi interest we have paid on the part of the new loan we took to pay picture back. As you say though it's the first £2000, plus 90% of the remainder

Thanks Pinknico Busbyh I will contact my FA and see what he says. I would pay that towards arrears ayway its just the principle of it not our choice, how do you all feel about it? it was pathetic what Picture said about the FSCS not knowing what they are doing with regards to single premium insurance, the policy itself being a good one and without it we would have no cover. I just said is that why they are now bannned and not worth the paper it was written on. He was defo trying to justify the selling of the policy. I will contact the fscs again speak to hubby when he gets home, I have a feeling he wont be too happy. I think for us being in so many arrears this going to them will help but if it is right that even if you dont have arrears you wont get it back it will go to the loan. Oh and get the bit picture would like you to pay all the compo back to them, i bet they would

That's what they are good at Doogle - EXPLOTATION.
Re the interest not sure if we get back the 8%. Iwas thinking about the interest I had paid on the PPI for 32 months:confused:

Mrs Doogle will have lots of GIN then, hopefully, for many christmas's to come.:D:D:D

We could all kick ourselves. This is my daughter's and son in laws claim, it nearly destroyed them. But as you say, in desperation you will do anything. I'm sure we have all learned a valuable lesson here, and will never be taken in again;);)

dialysis, I have gone through the T&Cs again and there is NO part of it which states you have to pay your rebate back to PICTURE.

The only monies you have to pay back off you loan is that claimed against Redundancy and Hospitalisation. These payments are automatically paid off the loan, as we would expect.

Please be careful and do not let them CON you on this one, until you have checked everything out, though i'm sure you will be careful. I just would not put anything past them.
